According to a source on the IORR message boards:

"Heard this from a friend of mine. Why would I believe him? Well, for one, he knows Ivan Neville. I won't go into how or why. And two, this is the biggest give away of all - Ivan got a FAX! So it sounds like there is going to be a tour starting sometime in August."

It was also pointed out that Dumpstaphunk, Ivan Neville's band, has open dates from Mid-August thru early October.

Just passing it along. I really couldn't give a toss about seeing them.

A bit short notice and pretty highly unlikely, I'd say.

Why bother? He's had ample periods of inactivity in the last 10-15 years to do something like this, and has done next to nothing when the Stones havent been working.

Unless Keith's health has improved dramatically in the last year or two, I cant see him fronting a band again as the post-Fiji part of the last tour pretty much saw an end to him singing AND playing guitar at the same time. Almost certainly a decision which was a result of his anti-seizure medication.

this is kind of on topic and i wish there was a link to it but instead i will have to report this from the Weekend Australian  July 4 by Iain Shedden (erstwhile bass player for the saints (mach II at best) :

Shedden knows the winos have done nothing for over 15 years but thats just to clue in the lumpen mass...the guts of the report is Charlie has had enough..apparently so according to what Charlie D. knows?? ..anyway i thought keith had retired gone fishing... and where is that autobiography...will he hand back his advance just like mick...not so much because he can't remember more like it's a job for Boswell

of course the most ridiculous thing is no band without charlie W on drums could pass itself off as the Rolling Stones

I don't buy this or the Joe Perry rumor. Keith is enjoying his time away from the stage. The only thing that will get him back on stage will be the Stones.

What medication is Keith on? I wonder how long he has to be on it.  No more god-damned trees!
