Wow, that's quite some news...I did remember "Sophia Loren" from Karnbach's book from 1997 so I went to dig it out...
...and found two other songs listed : 'Fragile" - "I'm not signifying".
Looking at my very own
http://stones.servebeer.com/Trax/1970.htm compilation I didn't find anything else.
It can't be ruled out that these two "unknown songs" got new and sexier titles for the release, maybe their lyrics will be some kind of indication. I find it a bit odd that Karnbach would have missed two full songs since he was apparently given access to the session logs and possibly tapes but the fact he never once gave any info on unbootlegged songs indicates he didn't or that he was "told" not to...
Depends when you consider the 'Exile' sessions to have started. Very little of 'Sticky Fingers' (released April 1971) was started after July 1970 when the band broke for a few weeks before the European Tour. The final sessions in October of that year were mostly overdubs with the exception of Moonlight Mile and Sway. By that stage a lot of the songs that ended up on Exile 18 months later had begun to be worked on. I've always considered 'Travellin' Man' an Exile outtake, even though it probably dates from October 1970. It was certainly recorded AFTER Good Time Women.
