TTM, you're threads are deceiving, except for The Clash, no real punk rock here, what about the Sex Pistols? when did Little Richard become Punk Rock? if you're going have a title in your threads, at least stick to what it's about.

Nothing defines punk's Golden Age better than Moby jamming with some band in 2008.

Thanks TTM.

“What rap did that was impressive was to show there are so many tone-deaf people out there,” he says. “All they need is a drum beat and somebody yelling over it and they’re happy. There’s an enormous market for people who can’t tell one note from another.” - Keef

Showing some love for your N'awlins homeboys, eh, EG?

Nowhere near as aggro, but 'Schizophrenic Circus' was a favorite of mine back in the day.
'Good Thing I Know Her' is super swirly...

Another band from New Orleans, The Cold, more New Wave than Punk.
Look closely at the bassist. He is Vance DeGeneres, brother of Ellen, co-creator of the "Mr. Bill" character on SNL and veteran of The Daily Show.
This was filmed in 1981 and I'm somewhere in the audience.

Same band, rehearsing in the drummer's garage for a reunion show a few years ago:
