The guy was too far ahead of his time when he tried to rock.
I think he'd a made a great replacement for either Mick Taylor or Brian Jones. For alotta REASONS.

Jorma is a great musician and a cool guy too, he gave me as a gift his own selection of tea some years ago... no weed content!

I have some pictures, I'm going to look for them in the meantime I do recommend you fine people to listen this show of Jorma as a SOLO artist (no JA / HT) with special guests Leslie West (Mountain) and Stephen Stills

Jorma is awesome...and great to his fans.  After a hiatus I see he and Jack this Labor Day weekend at a local festival.  I'm psyched!!!!

I love "Embryonic Journey" my favorite piece of his guitar work, I saw The J. Airplane  in 1970 at O'Keefe Center, my ears rang for 3 days it was so loud, that was in the days of psychedelic light shows, before that during the day Grace Slick & Paul Kantner were on radio in interview discussing the "Gimme Shelter" film, at that time wasn't released yet, Jorma sure did a lot of great guitar leads with J. Airplane & Jack Casady is a fantastic bassist, I loved Hot Tuna too.
