I last saw mama bird on the evening of the snatching. She hasn't been around since.
My courtyard in the French Quarter, New Orleans:
The hanging basket in the upper-left of the trees is where mama built her nest.
I never saw a daddy bird. Perhaps he's a crackhead on welfare.
My neighbor's balcony, where she witnessed the bird-snatching from, is hidden by the trees on the right.

I'm going to clear out those twigs after posting this and water that plant for the first time in nearly a month.
