Brian who? Who's Brian? Brian will never get credit for any record. His name isn't on the "deed." It's like trying to hide assests in someone else's name...,for whatever reason. It doesn't work. Yes, you're probably right. Brian won't get credit for anything. But that doesn't change the truth. Keith is "great" enough in his own right. You don't have to give him credit where the credit goes to Brian. I can say that for a number of Stones songs in the 60's. The Stones think of themselves as a band. Or at least try to .... that way noone gets hurt as far as artistic credits go. Monetary credits and conrol can be a different puppy. My advice is this...if you want to keep it, don't put it in someone elses name. Too late now.....and I do believe that on more than one occasion, the Glimmers have taken someone else's ideas/riffs, etc. and put them under the Jagger/Richards banner. A very few numbers were given the Nanker Phlege moniker, but a lot of the compositions of the 60's included a LOT of imput from Jones especially, and also Bill Wyman. I know that's not considered technical "songwriting", but I wish credit had been given. Some songs were mere skeletons when brought to the studio, to be fleshed out by Mick, Keith, Brian and sometimes Bill. And I know that adding exotic instruments also does not constitute "songwriting", but imagine some of those 60's tunes without Brian's musical touches... JMHO! Please be kind....
