I just watched a film "Cadillac Records" it's all about Leonard Chess & how he started recording blues musicians & forming Chess records, it's got actors playing Muddy Waters, Little Walter, Willie Dixon, Howlin' Wolf, Chuck Berry, Etta James & The Stones (for a brief time) just saying hello to Muddy W. & how they got their name from one of his songs, it's got a great soundtrack, great slide & harp playing, I don't know why the film wasn't called Chess Records, but a great film about the blues.

I downloaded it as a AVI from BT Junkie site, it's good quality considering it's what's called a screener, I don't think it's out on DVD right now, otherwise someone would have it as a DVDRIP.

A great movie...

Official website --> http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/cadillacrecords/

Go to the top left corner, spin the record and hit 'video' - a 2-minute & 7-minute tease (Stones content, my friends!)

On a personal note - LJ will ball her eyes out when she see 'the staircase'  Wink

One of the first heard songs in the movie, Muddy's  "I can't be satisfied" was covered by The Stones but only (as far as I know) was on the album More Hot Rocks, I wonder if this was on a early album in the U.K.? or a B side of a single? also in the movie there's Little Walter's "My Babe" with Elvis (on T.V.) doing a fantastic version of it, I didn't even know he did this.
