ouch - alicia's voice is ok but that bloke is no good (imho) - and the additional passing chords they put in are competely unnecessary and their 'complicated" harmonies - again, it's too much - sounds like a bloody elton john song

i've never heard of Charlotte Martin but i liked this - much more stripped back - raw but still bitter sweet - its fairly lo-fi live recording

yes - weeding in the extreme heat - we (corgi is copping it too) are in the middle (or the beginning) of a string of over 40C days - yesterday was over 45 and today is going to be just as bad

last night was the hottest night in the history of Christendom

This is a song, that, if I were in a band, would be weary of attempting. The original can't really be improved, though some 75-76 versions are close in their beauty.
