Lisa Fischer's Birthday Was Yesterday...at MSG....

I went to see Tina Turner last night at MSG and as a lot of you know, our own Lisa Fischer is one of her back up singers.

During intros, Tina announced that it was Lisa's birthday and she prodded all of Madison Square Garden to sing "Happy Birthday" to her.

Tina's show was fantastic. And it was so great to see Lisa.

Unfortunately, when I'm in the same arena as Lisa, there is some other band on my mind.....

I got a bunch of pretty good ones. I'm always practicing my concert photography just in case we get another Stones tour. That Tina was amazing. She just turned 69, yet she seemed to gain stamina as the show went on.

She went flying around in a cherry picker at the end of the show!

And she ran down a narrow ramp in those "big girl dress up shoes".
And she sings Jumping Jack Flash/IORR with video of Mick and Keith running in the background.
