Can't stop laughing about these bastards, they now complained and sent another takedown notification for having "You Can't Always Get What You Want" as background music of my tribute to Brian Jones, so temporary I changed to Mozart and then will change it to COCKSUCKER BLUES

Since the footage is not owned by the bastard the video is up with different background music

I read on a Bruce Springsteen fan site a person uploaded
a Bruce vid from Conan O'Brien. Had it up for 2 years
Received a notice that NBC/Universal had it pulled for
infringement. Doesn't it help a company to have this
stuff up to sell product? Why would ABCKO be so worried
after they've manage to prostitute Stones songs in such
a wayward manner?

I can't believe that, to go after a song being used as a tribute to Brian Jones, what a absolute prick!!! I had Ed Sullivan show performances of The Stones in the 60's on Youtube & he pulled that! I just gave up on it! I could see him going after someone making money of The Stones, but to go after fans who just use a song is downright being a bastard, on a lighter note, it's funny to see the video with Mozart's music being played, does he own Cocksucker blues too??? he probably does cause I think it was during that Abkco period.

I detest Allen Klein and anyone associated with him. And I detest the fact that he has the authority to take those songs OFF YouTube.

Having said that......I watched the entire video again {mainly because of the fact that when I start looking at something about Brian, I can't stop till it's over}. After about a minute of watching/listening, the Mozart connection started to get to me.....it actually created quite a "mood" for the artistic piece. Made Brian's life, and death, seem larger than life. Actually very effective.

Which STILL doesn't minimize the fact that Klein shouldn't have fooled with it in the first place!!!

of course I recognize the piece - which one is it?? (excuse my uncultured dumbass)

as for the question why do they police this stuff so vehemently even if there is no loss (or indeed it could even be seen as a benefit through further exposure) - the issue is control - you cannot be seen to surrender it without due reward (even for a worthy cause it sets a bad precedent)

it may not be nice but i would say that is the reality

Gilbert Gottfried is annoying; Klein is execrable. I would agree that actually wishing cancer on someone, even Klein, is over the top. I'm not sure jostorm went that far. That being said, I think a sincere and heartfelt disdain for Klein is appropriate and a point on which most of us likely agree.

Actually, it's not my "wish", far from it, I've lost too many friends/family to cancer ,and I paid my way through university working on an intensive care unit, so I used to look after many people in their cancerous end-stages, not very pretty, and certainly not something I would wish on anyone, no matter how despicable they may be. I was simply quoting fairly common psychological hypothesis (or mumbo-jambo, if you prefer) as to the psychosomatic relation between people's personality traits and how it influences their susceptibility to specific diseases ...

Perhaps reading posts more carefully would be helpful in avoiding jumping to false conclusions.
