However, I am very offended that this president, and his sycophantic worshippers, have just told the vast majority of the American public that our views are getting the way of his far left agenda. What you fail to see is that most Americans are perfectly happy with their insurance plans. In most polls roughly 85% of those polled said that they like their current insurance plan. Obama is trying to take those plans away, and only a drone refuses to see it.
Now he's going to use reconciliation against the will of the American people, and I'm just supposed to civil about the very nature of our relationship with our elected officials going from one of representative government to one of lordships? Do you understand that what Obama, and the far left of the Democrat Party, want to do is to control a full one sixth of the economy and with it all of our medical choices?!?! Do you not get it?!?!?! The economic mess we are in today can be laid directly at the feet of the government, and yet all you see is greedy insurance companies? You're a good little drone! You repeat everything that Obummer says without ever questioning it. Fannie and Freddie destroyed the housing market! Government intervention into the mortgage industry destroyed the banks! Obama claims that insurance companies are the villains, and you just nod in agreement. Never bothering to understand that insurance companies have a profit margin of just over 2 1/2%! Hardly the stuff of evil capitalists. Yet the government intervention, and regulations have all but destroyed the private insurance industry. This horseshit bill is Obama's way of finally doing away with free market insurance, and you stand and cheer as if this going to somehow benefit you! It's going to screw you, and your family out of choice, Pdog! And yes, Palin is 100% correct! There will be rationing, and governmental bureaucrats that decide if the life of an 85 year old with two hip replacements is worthy of receiving another surgery. In other words "death panels". They have these in every single country that has a single payer government run health system, and you think Palin is making some kind of outrageous claim. She's just pointing out what anyone with any sense already knows to be true.
The USPS has just announced that they are about to cut Saturday deliveries. Do you see a private company like UPS or FedEx having to ration their deliveries? Of course not! But the government can't do anything as cheaply, or as effectively, as private enterprise. If you don't think that there is going to be massive rationing of health care then you aren't paying attention! How do you add an additional 35 million people to the rolls of Medicare and at the same time cut funding of it by half a trillion dollars and not ration care?!?!?! You think that a guy that has never once held any kind of executive position is smart enough to make it work?! Really?!?! No other Western country has managed to figure it out, but the former ACORN lawyer, and wealth re-distributor extraordinaire has his finger on it?! You are honestly gullible enough to fall for this ponzi scheme? Really?!?!
So, in closing, 85% of all Americans are happy with their own policies. At least 75% of all Americans polled have stated that they want no part of a government run health care system, but you, like Obama, think that you know better. Well that is not the way that our system is supposed to work, and the fact that I stand up and say it shouldn't offend anyone! If I seem a little angry about it tough luck! I look at my kids and I know that the country that we are handing off to them will have fewer opportunities for them than the ones our parents left for us, and that is all by design from a far left hack that has never run a damned thing in his life!
Democrats are going to pay a huge price for ignoring the will of the public come November, but by that time we will be in such dire financial and economic shape that the next three generations will be struggling to undo what this ideologue is so intent on doing now. It pisses me off because I know history, and I know exactly what this Saul Alinsky acolyte believes in. You either don't, or you refuse to see it.
