Bunning for stalling the Unemployment extension? How about Sen. Jon Kyl of Arizona, the Republican whip, who thinks Unemployment benefits dissuade people from getting jobs? They've gone from being the Party of No, to the Party of Hell No, to the Party of Fuck You. http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/video/senator-jim-bunning-jonathan-karl-excuse-99...Sen. Bunning's office # is (202) 224-4343. Please call him. Jesus, here's how it should work here. The orange costs $1. You do not have $1. You don't buy the orange. Here's what this country is used to: I'll buy the orange with a promise to pay it back. Sen Bunning is trying to get people to understand there is no free orange. If you propose to have people call his office I hope it is to congratulate him. The result of too much spending without the ability to pay for it? Your offspring might live in Des Moines, however, they will speak Chinese. Curious oh bearded one.....you call yourself the Messiah, yet you curse like a truck driver & advocate political action. What is your 'splanation for this behavior? you do know that you need a an orange tree, water and sun and time to make an orange? your analogy only take into considerartion, the orange is there for you, those who can buy it, which is a typical republican view... when the truth is, the orange is the end result of the work, which is what unemployment ins. is, people pay into to it, in the hopes, they never need it, but it is there in case they lose the job... these benefits have been apid for, and the extension is a type of mercy... seems republicans get real fiscal on matters that involve things like housing, food, healthcare and medicine... but funding the war in Iraq, never blinked an eye!!! You got it. The orange is already produced & in the store. My 15 yr old daughter understood it~there's hope for you too! Refreshing that Bunning is thinking, no? He does not care. He's not running again. He's not about entitlements. He was a Philly pitcher, I would think you'd be down with him? i wish being a former phillie did it... thing about insurance, is it's your money... it's an insurance program, it's not really an entitlement program... this program is set up to protect people who lose jobs, we're not talking welfare... and this was more than just extending those benefits... it's taxable income, it's not like disabilty, you pays taxes on this money too, even after you paid into it... His voting record shows he has no problem with unfunded pork and earmarks inlegislation... this is just a dick move, especially knowing that not one other memeber of congress is behind this, speaks volumes too... and if they all were, wouldn't make it right IMO... i'm just all un-american wanting people to have money for food, shelter and medicine... are you really the same people who talk in such big terms of protecting americans... what do you think this is...? Look, I think he's going out kamikaze style. Probably looking for something for his homies as a last big bang. I read where some of his peeps who are out of work & will be effected by this are applauding this move. He's probably looking at his scorecard over his time there & looking to stick it to someone. Just enough to upset the balance in what could be an upsetting year for both sides. It's not only Dems who will have trouble, John McCain could be out if enough people are swung by JD Hayworth... suicidal bombing, political style.... probably the worst metaphor you could use... this is your get your foot of your mouth free card... seeing how we just had that douchbag fly a plane into a building to make a ppoint, even mataphorically... this is always a bad thing... you want think it over and maybe call him a martyr, at least it would be a little more politically correct! Point taken.
