I can't figure out why there isn't unanimous support for the troops, both in the field AND when they return.
Seems to me that if a soldier dies in combat, their children should get a free college education at the very least.
They can make the ultimate sacrifice, but America can't help out the family these soldiers leave behind?

Major Hasan wasn't crazy. Well, from a certain perspective (that needs to be acknowledged).
If somebody believes that they will be rewarded for killing infidels, and that their god wants this, then these actions are quite reasonable.

It is sad that in the Obama world the people who are paid to protect us are more worried about potentially offending a jihadist than attending the funerals of 13 people.  I hope there are many in the FBI and army who spend the rest of their lives sick with guilt.

For all those who bashed Bush's reaction to 911 while at the school, how about some condemnation of Obama's 2 mins of shout outs to his political cronies before addressing the Ft. Hood incident?
