Which could be attributed to Clinton letting Bin Laden slip through his

We could go on forever.

The fact is indecision is Obama's greatest enemy.  He needs to support what he said he would
in Afganistan now or start to remove our troops from the country now. Just do it already.  If he's capable of making this decision he will go a long way towards gaining credibility.  His track record towards decision making is not good, took him five months to decide on a dog.  If he continues to host weekly old skool rap parties in the White House while men & woman are being killed daily he will face a tougher battle.

Additionally, he needs to be making decisions, not furloughing these out to Pelosi & Reid.  They at this time are running the country, not Obama.

This is not change as was promised.

Clinton got head & did nothing on OBL.  He had several chances to get him, let the all slip away.
Towards where we are now in Afghanistan, understand that Obama's people asked Bush to provide a dossier on Afganistan before they left, but to not say anyting on it.  Then in March Obama released the same dossier & called it his own.  Obama at that time vowed to support this 100%.  The paradigm shifted at that time.  He had his chance to exhort himself from previous administrations by leaving Afganistan.  He chose not to.  Now he owns it.  His choices are to leave or continue.  By taking this amount of time, he will stay there.  I'm not adverse to a plan with increased drones.  In one respect, we have them surrounded, if they follow the success in Iraq by implementing a surge this could be effective again.  Obama could well come out of this good if he makes the touch choice.  Of course, now he's conflicted by all of this phony Nobel Peace crap.  It's not too peace minded of him to be deciding a war is it?  In addition, by asking the General which he appointed there to bring forward his opinion, then scolding this General when he does, Obama is guilty of poor micromanaging.  Those troops need to be there now or start to bring the troops home.  When I see the coward John Kerry being trotted out acting like he knows something about this, when all he knows is where the next Nantucket bimbo is to bag, things are starting to head south in a hurry.

This is not about Dems, GOP, Libertairans.  This is about the man who ran for President, who got elected, to start acting like a President & take decisive action.  He needs to act like a leader, not a follower.  He needs to decide things, not let events decide things for us.

Nellie, clinton may have had some missed opportunities to get osama....however, that was pre 9-11, so he can be forgiven for not taking advantage of those opportunities much more than bush. bin laden wasn't public enemy #1 then, whereas he was (or should have been) during the bush presidency.

i am still amazed and sickened at this iraq war. howe could anyone have been so fucking stupid to start a completely separate war when the criminals that killed 3,000 of our fellow citizens were still running around? i have never heard a republican answer this question.

The mofo is all about politics.  He will send the 40,000 but is more concerned with the elections next week than the soldiers.  Just like the proposed health care program where the changes are not implemented until after his next election, and the stimulus spending targeted to be spent before next year's election rather than when needed.  Chicago thug and committed socialist who only serves the unions, trial lawyers, special interests, and red states that supported him.  There will be a special place in hell for this radical bastard.

He owns the bailouts, stimulus, staggering debt, falling dollar, and high unemployment with his uncontrolled spending and political payoffs.

Bush debuts as motivational speaker

Bush spoke at a 'Get Motivated!' event in Fort Worth, Texas Monday night

(CNN) - Former President George W. Bush made his debut as a motivational speaker Monday night, telling a Fort Worth, Texas crowd it's futile to waste energy chasing popularity.

"It's so simple in life to chase popularity, but popularity is fleeting, it's not real," Bush said at a "Get Motivated!" business seminar, a multi-city event its organizers describe as an "energizing, action-packed, star-studded, fun-filled, spectacular stage show."

The president himself saw wild popularity swings during his eight years in the White House, garnering nearly a 90 percent approval rating in the months following the attacks on September 11, 2001 and exiting office with only the support of 31 percent of Americans, according to a CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll.

The former president was greeted enthusiastically by the 11,000 attendees of the event, according to the Fort Worth Telegram, and he spoke casually for about 20 minutes.

Event organizers declined to disclose how much the former president was compensated for the appearance, though former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani received $100,000 for a similar speech at the event two years ago.

Bush, who has made few public appearances or statements since leaving office nine months ago, also took the opportunity to reflect on his presidency.

"Every single day, I was honored to be your president by bringing honor and dignity to the office," he said. Bush also added later that his faith played a large role in guiding his decisions: "From a personal perspective, I don't see how you can be president without relying upon an almighty."

Colin Powell, the former Bush Secretary of State who sparred with many members of the president's inner circle over the invasion of Iraq and endorsed Barack Obama's presidential bid - also spoke at the event and offered high praise of his ex-boss.

"We are safer than we were before 9-11 because of President Bush," Powell said.
The former president is also scheduled to participate in another "Get Motivated!" seminar in San Antonio, Texas on December 2, according to the company's Web site.

"For a limited time only," the Web site says, tickets are available for that event at $4.95 per person or $19 for a group.

This is interesting:

Professor Joseph Olson of   Hamline University School of Law,   St. Paul ,   Minnesota , points out some interesting facts concerning last November's Presidential election:

Number of States won by: Democrats: 19    Republicans: 29
Square miles of land won by: Democrats: 580,000    Republicans: 2,427,000
Population of counties won by: Democrats: 127 million    Republicans: 143 million
Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Democrats: 13.2    Republicans: 2.1

Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory Republicans won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country.

Democrat territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in low income tenements and living off various forms of government welfare..."

Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.

If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegals and they vote, then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.

Does anybody really believe this crap? God is providing direction for humanity? This is what you're counting on?

Nice to see W out shaking hands with the unemployed. Hope he was able to tell people how to survive in a world where they don't have a rich family to bail them out after 8 years of his (or Cheney's) policies. And he even got a few bucks in the deal . . .

Interesting?  Not really.  A completely debunked internet hoax?  Absolutely.  This hoax, which appeared as early as the 2000 election, has been posted and debunked at least once on this board (and probably on this thread).  Here is the Fact Check link:

Whoa Nelly!

Really?  That's what you think about?

What were their names?  Isn't it entirely possible that no one's children were "lost in a conflict" at that exact moment? What conflict are you referring to? And what was that exact moment?

So how do you feel about that whole thing where Bush said he gave up golf for the troops, but then it was proven that he didn't actually give up golf? Not that I care a fig about that, but if you're still obsessing over Bill's blowjob, you must be apoplectic about that one.

If I remember the sordid details correctly, wasn't he actually making phone calls to members of Congress while it was going on?  Some people would say that WAS giving 300%.

Howe long does it take to get a blow job? Seems to me if it's done well the whole thing's over pretty quickly. It's not like they were into tantric sex yoga - or were they?

Isn't it akin to stepping away from your desk to have a smoke? I bet over in France they take BJ breaks 2 or 3 times a day.

Is it just your deep and heartfelt respect and admiration for Mrs. Clinton, who I think WAS genuinely wronged by these actions, that makes you still stay up at night thinking about it 14 years later?

So what do you think of that famous quote by Keith Richards - "We are not old men. We don't care about your petty morals" ?

guys, I'm developing some serious concerns about the current administration.

It's not easy cleaning up 8 years worth of shit.

Which could be attributed to Clinton letting Bin Laden slip through his
hands more than once in 8 years while getting head in the Oval Office.

At least Clinton didn't ignore bin laden... wow!!! bush was handed intel saying they were going to attack using hijacked planes and did nothing... after dismantling the work clinton had done in regard to AQ... wow... you're right about afghanistan, another ignored bush problem from 2002 til 2008, they ignored it!!! it's not like obama developed these problems, he inheireted them all...

Oh Bush ignored it alright, just like he was supposed to, so convenient how his NPAC, neocon cronies finally got the "new Pearl Harbor" they had such a hard on for

there's nothing wrong with getting head...not even in the workplace....choose your words more carefully here or you open yourself up all sorts of Freudian speculation.....it's like the poster who continually used the word 'pussy' as an epithet....it was because he's never seen one.....

You mean like a poster who's sig is "Lotsajizz" is probably hung like a peanut? Is that what Freud would say?
