Equality? Hey, I'm all for it. I just don't want my tax dollars going towards the indoctrination of the very youth that this administration is robbing blind. I'd love to see a liberal's response towards a video of elementary school children being taught how to praise George W. Bush and his policies. Double standard much?

I don't want to see any children being indoctrinated into any political ideology period. Republican or Democrat, it make no difference to me. I would like to see children taught about the founding of this nation, and our fundamental belief in inalienable individual rights that were granted us by our Creator and not some socialist politicos in DC, and as laid down in the Declaration Of Independence and the US Constitution. I would love to see that. I am fortunate enough to live in a community in New Jersey that actually believes in the greatness of America, and rejects the idiocy of socialism. I was thrilled by the county school board's choice not to carry Obama's speech. No political indoctrination from any political party, right or left. The townsfolk where I live made it abundantly clear that the speech from Barry was not welcomed, and that hundreds of students would by absent had it been shown. The school board honored the wishes of the parents. True democracy in action, and not left-wing indoctrination. Bravo!

The linked video should make every American sick! It's disgusting.

Pdog, the difference is this church, or church camp may well be tax exempt, but that also means that it does not use federal tax dollars for it's funding. So, while I may agree, or disagree, with what any church group is doing or preaching, they aren't doing it with my tax dollars. So haven't any reason to complain. A public school is a different matter completely.

So are you saying that you would be fine with a public school teaching kids to praise Bush, and his policies? I have very serious doubts about that.

I speak out against people like Palin, Limbaugh and Beck because in my estimation they do enormous harm to the causes in which I believe. In my view, the talk-and-Fox complex marginalizes Republicans – and backs us into demagogic and unsustainable political positions. David, do you really want to abolish the Federal Reserve? Do you think the United States should have allowed Merrill Lynch, Bank of America, Wells Fargo and other banks to follow Lehman into bankruptcy in October 2008? Do you think that any cuts to Medicare amount to a death panel for grandma? Do you think we can sustain an adequate military – never mind finance future tax reductions – if we allow healthcare to continue rising from its current 16% of GDP to a projected 20% of GDP a decade from now if nothing changes?

I can’t believe you do. And if you don’t believe these things, is it not dangerous to have talk-and Fox whipping a couple of million conservatives into frenzy over things that are not true?

David has ammunition in the latest NYT poll. It shows some cooling on Obama - but only from ridiculously high levels. But the verdict on Republicans is devastating.

Firstly, without wasting too much time on this idiot David Frum. Here's the deal funman, Frum is a moron. He was on Mark Levin's show about a month ago, and Levin destroyed him. He is an ultra liberal Republican. He makes a RINO like McCain look down right Reaganesque!

Frum likes to claim that the Limbaughs and Becks of the right wing are hurting the Republican odds. That is a laugh out loud gut buster right there! Limbaugh's ratings are the highest they have been in his entire 21 year run! Trust me when I say that is no easy task! I'm in the business. I see his numbers. They are massive! His ratings are up by over 60% in many markets, and markedly up in every market in which he is syndicated. As for Beck, and I'm no fan, he has the number one, and number two best sellers on the market right now. His Fox News ratings beat CNN, MSNC, and Headline News combined. It's not even close. Mark Levin's brilliant book "Liberty and Tyranny", has sold over one million copies, even though the NYT never once reviewed it. He was never asked to appear on any of the MSM's morning shows either. Yet his book has out sold every non-fiction political books in years. It's also worth noting that Republican fundraising is blowing the doors off of the DNC's efforts. So Frum is full of it, and he knows it!

Now let's take a look at Barry and Pelosi's Obamacare plan, shall we? Yes we shall!

Check this little blurb from Politico, and bear in mind this is from the same lying sob that promised that "95% of all Americans will see a tax cut." Oh how the drones lapped up that blatant lie. Well, now we are beginning to see just how much of liar this guy is. Not that many of us didn't know it all along.

Ensign receives handwritten confirmation

This doesn't happen often enough.

Sen. John Ensign (R-Nev.) received a handwritten note Thursday from Joint Committee on Taxation Chief of Staff Tom Barthold confirming the penalty for failing to pay the up to $1,900 fee for not buying health insurance.

Violators could be charged with a misdemeanor and could face up to a year in jail or a $25,000 penalty, Barthold wrote on JCT letterhead. He signed it "Sincerely, Thomas A. Barthold."

The note was a follow-up to Ensign's questioning at the markup.
