That was the scariest movie I've ever watched, PA, it puts even "The Shining" in the shade. Were those "normal Americans"? Here in England they would be sectioned under the Mental Health Act.
Poignant how most of them actually were not even articulate enough to explain to the reporter what the bill was about, or where they felt the taxes were being raised unfairly, they come across as mentally unbalanced sheep... Scary!
Yes it is scary, Jo! I have a few coworkers, who may not be quite that stupid mind you-but nonetheless-you can't even have a logical "discussion" with them about the problems in America. No problem or relationship for that matter will get the quality time it deserves when people can only see black and white.
Even scarier, is Glen Beck is putting out a book, called arguing with idiots, to give these uniformed a tool to argue the misinformation... see they want an argument, and they want to appear smart. What happens when an idiot wins a fight? They are still an idiot, then we have what we had for 8 years in america. they are not bright, so they haven't figured out you need a message. When you lose to impotent democrats, you're fucked up. When all you can do is yell and make up lies to try to get some power back, you're officially done!
Okay Pdog. You're so brilliant. I mean nobody has to tell you what to say, or how to say it, right?
Then perhaps you explain to me just exactly how Barack Obama and his band of idiots in the House and Senate are going to slash billions from Medicare yet they are going to offer "better" coverage! There will be no rationing, yet billions of dollars are to be cut in funding. Oh, and let's not forget that he also wants to add an estimated 50,000,000 more people onto a government plan. Since you're damned brilliant perhaps you can explain just how the hell he plans on doing that? Because, to date, he hasn't explained it worth a fuck!
And while you're at it maybe you can peruse this poll conducted last week from IBD/TIPP and try and explain how all these doctors are a bunch of racists, and Glenn Beck idiots.
Here's a clue-the idiots are the ones that are still defending the worst president in US history!

Here, have fun with this--->
The IBD/TIPP Poll was conducted by mail the past two weeks, with 1,376 practicing physicians chosen randomly throughout the country taking part. Responses are still coming in, and doctors' positions on related topics — including the impact of an overhaul on senior care, medical school applications and drug development — will be covered later in this series.
Major findings included:
• Two-thirds, or 65%, of doctors say they oppose the proposed government expansion plan. This contradicts the administration's claims that doctors are part of an "unprecedented coalition" supporting a medical overhaul.
It also differs with findings of a poll released Monday by National Public Radio that suggests a "majority of physicians want public and private insurance options," and clashes with media reports such as Tuesday's front-page story in the Los Angeles Times with the headline "Doctors Go For Obama's Reform."
Nowhere in the Times story does it say doctors as a whole back the overhaul. It says only that the AMA — the "association representing the nation's physicians" and what "many still regard as the country's premier lobbying force" — is "lobbying and advertising to win public support for President Obama's sweeping plan."
The AMA, in fact, represents approximately 18% of physicians and has been hit with a number of defections by members opposed to the AMA's support of Democrats' proposed health care overhaul.
• Four of nine doctors, or 45%, said they "would consider leaving their practice or taking an early retirement" if Congress passes the plan the Democratic majority and White House have in mind.
More than 800,000 doctors were practicing in 2006, the government says. Projecting the poll's finding onto that population, 360,000 doctors would consider quitting.
• More than seven in 10 doctors, or 71% — the most lopsided response in the poll — answered "no" when asked if they believed "the government can cover 47 million more people and that it will cost less money and the quality of care will be better."
