President Barack Obama's public approval rating has plummeted faster than President Jimmy Carter’s, reports RealClearPolitics in its review of Gallup polling.

Carter first polled at a 66 percent approval rating, dipping to 54 percent by September. Meanwhile, Obama has already tumbled down to 52 percent approval rating at the end of July, according to the latest Gallup survey.

The bottom line: Obama began his presidency at 68, hitting 69 the following day. That translates to a 16 point drop since day one. In less time than Carter, Obama has fallen more, concluded the RealClearPolitics review.

It's the economy? or do you think it's something else? For the record, people expected a miracle, that unless I'm mistaken, has never happened with the economy, it takes a long time, like paint drying.

Ron Paul, but he'll never get elected. He's not handsome enough for the Repubs, and progressives don't like his social ideas.

she quit her job, they got a drop out prego teen kid, rumors of infidelity and corruption... divorce seems the logical result for these two... We are talking about a very non-transperent person... Who knows what they got going on... she didn't even disclose her last pregnancy until 7 months? Bet that's another liberal plot to destroy her...

Okay let's take a quick gander at Barry's own words via his website, shall we?

Remember this gem-"I will cut taxes for 95 percent of workers and their families with a tax cut of $500 for workers or $1,000 for working couples."

http://www.barackobama.com/taxes/

Only the drones among us ever believed this flat out lie. I mean intelligent folks knew that Barry was lying through his teeth, but Barry never had a chance convincing us of that. The drones however, they are a different story all together. They can be sold a shit sandwich from Barry and still think that they are getting the deal of a lifetime on filet mignon. See, drones are idiots. Period. Always were idiots. Always will be idiots.

Now let's take a look at what the tax cheat Geithner had to say about these tax cuts for 95% of "workers and their families", shall we? Yes we shall.

"Geithner Won’t Rule Out New Taxes for Middle Class"

http://blogs.abcnews.com/george/2009/08/geithner-wont-rule-out-new-taxes-for-mid...

From a drone's perspective I'm just going to hazzard a guess as to what they will say in dronespeak.

"Bush fucked us all even more than we thought! I mean we thought that he left us with the worst recession since The Great Depression, but hey, guess what? It was even worse than that! So of course our dear leader had to spend four times what Bush spent!

Have I got that about right?

Yes. Yes I do have that right.

Obama lied, and our economy died!

"I will not raise your taxes one single dime"-Barack Obama, November 2008

"There's a lot that can happen over time. It's never a good idea to rule out anything completely."-Larry Summers on the possiblity of raising taxes on the middle class Sunday, August 2nd 2009

I, for one, can't wait to hear Barry blaming Bush for the tax increases. It's going to happen, and I "want to be perfectly clear"<----(Obama speak) when this happens I will place the blame exactly where it actualy belongs, with Barry, and the drones that voted for him.

I just want to say again, for the record, that I am not a birther.

However, I see that some lawyer in LA has taken possession of a Kenyan birth certificate for our Prez with his parents names, his brithdate, and the hospital and doctor's names.  Apparently it was given to the lawyer from an anonymous source.

Wow! I'm not a "birther" either, but that is some pretty damning evidence right there. Whether he was born in Kenya or Hawaii makes little difference to me. I know exactly what he is, and so too do you Nanky. Now if it can be proven that he was,in fact, born in Kenya then we are going to see a massive fallout. The thought of seeing Barry frog marched out of the White House in cuffs would be too good to be true. I fear hat it would cause riots the likes of which we have never experienced before. Safe bet it's not gonna happen. When did this suppossed Kenyan birth certificate come to light?

Don't know - I heard about it this morning.

It would indeed be historic if a President who is under an oath to uphold the Constitution was actually disqualified from being President because he was not a natural born US citizen as set forth in said Constitution.

The Constitution has no remedy for such a situation, but arguably his Presidency would be void ab initio, meaning that his signature on any bill would be meaningless and all laws passed during his time in office would be illegitimate!

The $64K question - who would be President?  Arguably Biden, although the Obama/Biden ticket might be nullified, leaving Nancy Pelosi as the potential heir apparent.  SHIVER!

Hey Pdog, I know you say that people who claim that what Obama wants to do is to install a single payer/one size fits all nationalized health care plan to do away with private insurance companies are insane, and only using scare tactics. Perhaps then you can explain this video? Nothing is taken out of context here. This is the ultimate goal laid bare for all to see. All who are willing to see that is. Nationalized health care would be a disaster period!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-bY92mcOdk

Obama has made it sport to go after capitalism. Be it banks, the auto industry, oil companies, big pharma, and of course, the evil insurance companies he slams them all with gusto. Nothing like playing on people's emotions by giving them an evil capitalist system to go after! I mean government waste and crony capitalism is never the problem, huh? He's transparent alright! Too bad more people can't see just how radically left he really is.

That you guys would entertain this "new evidence" as potential trouble for Obama.

Really fits the profile of someone that believes the Bible is God's word. Or God for that matter.

What's the matter fuman.
Don't want to cloud the issue with facts?
Just dismiss it outright without knowing the truth.

I can understand your loathing of religion - lots of you intolerant libs cannot deal with the fact that many people have a religious faith and choose to freely practice it in this country -- you know the other part of the first Amendment that you libs hate -- freedom of religion!

That's right, I agree you should be free to practice. I also believe in the separation of church and state part. Do you?
That Jesus is superior to any of the other Gods is a joke. You feel your God's presence, but they don't tells the whole story.

Just had a look to see what all the fuss is about.

Hey funman do us all a favor and cite the part in the constituion about seperation of church and state. We'll be right here waiting. Oh and while you're at it perhaps you can explain what is actually meant by seperation of church and state. You are obviously lacking in any historic pretext with your baltantly biased and uninformed post.

Oh, and one more thing you little putz. Kenya was declared a free republic in 1964, but it declared it's independance from England, and it was granted, in December of 1963. All public records would naturally say The Republic Of Kenya! Plus note that the suppossed birth certificate was a copy of the original which was produced in 1964, and it is in keeping with other public records of the time. Did you, or did you not see where Nanky, and I, stated right up front that niether of us is a "birther"? The problem with you drones is that you are always having to put out so many fires because your idiot president is a joke. You are so busy carrying the water for your moron in chief that you never bother to actually look at any of the facts. Here's a fact that nobody can deny Obama sucks hard.

Obama lied. Our economy died.

"Hey Pdog, I know you say that people who claim that what Obama wants to do is to install a single payer/one size fits all nationalized health care plan to do away with private insurance companies are insane, and only using scare tactics."

that isn't what i said other people claim Obama wants to do... not even close...

"Perhaps then you can explain this video? Nothing is taken out of context here."

how many different interviews and speeches by how many different people? What is the context, you're kidding right... actually you're not... Listen to Revolution Number 9 on the White Album, and tell me what context that is in...

"Obama has made it sport to go after capitalism. Too bad more people can't see just how radically left he really is."

I know you beleive that, you say it all the time. Extremism is, what it is b/c it is what has been created. Truth is what you beleive, not what I beleive. you have your truth and I do not deny you your experience. I'm not trying to take away your experience...

There is no legislation or pending laws that can or will eliminate anyone from being privately insured... My experience to date, makes this my truth. What i do know is, once again all this crap about healthcare is being hoisted on the backs of the middle class. That's been my experince in my lifetime. Dems and Republican fuck over the middle class... one way or another, raising taxes or cutting education ect... that is also my truth and direct experience.
I've said this before, and it still appkies, I think you're lucky, you're just now starting to feel fucked and complain. I've been feeling this way for a long time. I feel no more or less unfucked with Obama. I clearly remember, in 2002, telling you that under Bush we would find ourselves in a conflict in the mid east, that would be long and drawn out, and you said that we would be done quickly in Iraq, and that history would prove this good. Well we are still in Iraq... and history has no time limits, yet you seem to not give the current president the same oppurtunity to succeed or fail. You've held him in contempt regardless.

"That's right, I agree you should be free to practice."

If you don't believe in any religion or any god, that's fine.
But you stated earlier with respect to the Kenyan Birth Certificate:

"Really fits the profile of someone that believes the Bible is God's word. Or God for that matter. Gullible."

If you agree that people should be free to practice their religion, believe in God, or believe the Bible is God's word, why do you continue to paint them as "gullible" for doing so?

"I also believe in the separation of church and state part. Do you?"

Ah, no - you will not find those words in the Constitution.
The Establishment clause prevents the government from establishing an official religion.
Last I checked, no one has done so.

"That Jesus is superior to any of the other Gods is a joke."

Once again, why do you have such a problem with people that believe this?
You say that people should be free to worship as they please, yet you continue to place your values and beliefs on them.
You can't have it both ways fuman.

highest 9,171 (highest so far)

10,604
to
8,599
highest 14,164.53 (record)

these numbers can be dissected many, many ways... if it is how we are going to look at a president, considering 6 months to 8 years, who is doing better???
One thing you can say... despite the highest ever, it only took months until the market lost that value that you, even toted as Bush great achievemnt in oct. 09... short lived. What is true, is Bush left us around 2,000 points down in DJIA after 8 years and in 7 month Obama has seen it rise almost that same amount. What is your argument going to be when or if we reach 10,000? A signifigant increase, especially the banking and mortgage crisis we are in the midst of... the worst known economic hit since 2001 attacks on the US, which crippled wall street ending trading and we took a huge hit...
while we did for a time, make it back to 10k in 2001, by 2002 we were at the mark Obama was at when he took office. How long did it take Bush admin to see us rebound around 2,000k in DJIA points? 9-02-02 djia 7,841... November of 2003 we reached at least 2,000 points up for the first time since the low under Bush.  It took literal all that time, and then another 2 plus years of maintaining, until we saw a real econmic recovery. The Clinton hangover, as it was blamed by you. Now, by all my ignorant assesment, Obama has for out performed all expectations in this regard. He's has an econmic 9/11 and for some reason, either you don't agree with that or you don't care enough to support our country in it's time of need. As long as we don't experience an unforseen catastrophe or attack, this trend of growth may continue. Hopefully we will at least see things maintain, like they did during Bush's first term. Don't make me go all She rat and dig out archives on you. i remember what you said at the time, whcih was give it time and see what happens!!!

WASHINGTON -- The White House spokesman says President Barack Obama is committed to not raising taxes on U.S. families earning less than $250,000.

Robert Gibbs restated that assurance Monday after two top White House officials suggested over the weekend that they could not rule out tax increases as the administration struggles to cut the budget deficit in half in the coming years.

In appearances on TV network news shows Sunday, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner said the White House was not ready to rule out a tax hike to lower the federal deficit. National Economic Council Director Larry Summers said Obama's proposed healthcare overhaul needs funding from somewhere.

Gibbs said the president "has made a very clear commitment to not raise taxes on the middle class."
