I have spoken to you twice in my life -- once in NYC at Stout and once in AC.
I hardly spoke to you at NYC, and I only spoke to you for about 10 minutes in AC.
I am curious to know what I could have possibly told you "in confidence" in those few minutes that you claim is such a state secret that you continue to hold my confidence.  Go ahead - I hereby waive the confidential status of said communication.  Let's hear it!

ok, you told me to keep all pics and comments about your current girlfriend off the board and private, b/c you were getting divorced and your soon to be ex was stalking you. I beleive this had blown over by AC... I said no problem, confidence number one. the 2nd was that you had also hooked up with, while you were married with a person from these boards, confidence number two. not a bomb at all... the conversations was however based on friendship and trust. it was also when a group of us had decided, no matter what to remain civil , and remeber in real life we had alot in common, and let politics always ride back seat. we agreed if things got heated, anyone could tapout, and ask to stop, to preserve the new real life friendships. When i asked for that, i got shit on last year... these are the same people who still trash Fleabit and make up lies about him now. Say what you want about me, or anything i've done. i put my shit out on frost street. even when it was something that was ugly... i'm many things, but not lying and making shit up....

stop making shit up... Sarah said so...

I asked pretty much everyone with a camera not to post pics of my girlfriend -- that was hardly anything confidnetial to you.

As for #2, that too was known by others well before I mentioned it to you.
I can think of at least 4 other people that knew it, not including SheRat who you admit was there too, so that was also not anything confidential to you in particular.

So don't accuse me of lying about telling you something in confidence when it was known by others.

I will say this though, in your defense.
Perhaps when I told you those two things, you did not know that others knew.
And so a few months back when you accused me of lying about saying things to you in confidence, that is why you believed I had, and I believed you were making things up.

To the extent that you felt betrayed by me, I honestly feel bad.
You are not a bad guy and I never harbored any ill will toward you.
It is unfortunate that you think I am a bad person or a liar because I am not.

You want civility? Okay no sweat. Let's see all the Obama supporters defend this.

Here's what Obama had to say about rushing bills through before anyone had a chance to read them.

This is from 2004 on Air America on the Randi Rhodes show.

BARACK OBAMA: ...When you rush these budgets that are a foot high and nobody has any idea what's in them and nobody has read them.

RANDI RHODES: 14 pounds it was!

BARACK OBAMA:  Yeah. And it gets rushed through without any clear deliberation or debate then these kinds of things happen.  And I think that this is in some ways what happened to the Patriot Act. I mean you remember that there was no real debate about that. It was so quick after 9/11 that it was introduced that people felt very intimidated by the administration.

Now it's important to keep this in the context of what Obama said about the bills that he would propose, and push through congress. If you don't remember then allow me to refresh your memory. Barack Obama said that all bills would be posted on the internet for a full five days so that the public could review said bills. Since that time the Stimulus bill was passed to the tune of 787 billion dollars. That bill was handed to House members with less than 24 hours to read it, and it was never put on the internet! So far we've lost 2.5 milion jobs and the bill has done nothing to stop the "worst recession since The Great Depression".

Then came the Omnibus bill to the tune of additional 410 billion dollars. How many days did the public get to peruse that bill? None! It too was passed with not one member of congress reading it all the way through!

We can't forget about the Cap and Trade (tax and kill) bill either. That was posted on the internet only after it passed the House vote!!! To date not one single House member can honestly say that they read the entire bill. The CBO has predicted that this bil alone would kill millions of American jobs. Did any of you Obama supporters read that bill? Didn't think so.

Now we have this disastrous health care bill being bandied about, and no one soul in congress has any real idea what's in it! All we know for sure is that the president says we must pass it now! Everything must be passed right now! Have you Obama supporters noticed that?

Please note that I never used the word drone in this entitre post. I have been nothing but respectful, so please respond likewise.

Are you Obama supporters so certain that this president has any idea of what he's doing? Because I could give muliple examples of pure incompetence that if left unchecked will utterly destroy the economic infrastructure of this nation. I personally believe that he is doing this intentionally. Why do you think that Riffy? Because that is exactly what Saul Alinsky's Rules For Radicals proposes that any good lefty should do. Destroy the free market capitalist system so that you can replace with a system that is "more fair". You Obama supporters honestly believe that Barack Obama thinks it's fair for any of you to live the American Dream? If so you're dellusional.

Riffy

PS-Notice how Barack Obama slammed the Patriot Act? Funny, huh? A bill that was designed for the sole reason of keeping us safe from another terrorist attack, and Barack Obama goes after that. However, when it comes to spending the next four generations into the largest debt ever he has no problem with that. Defend that Obama supporters. Was he lying then, or is he lying now? My guess is then and now.

confidence, you asked me to keep  a secret, not saying I was the only one knowing. Regardless, my point is, you asked me to keep that confidence, and not talk about outside of the conversation we were having. you clearly stated then, that you didn't trust many, and had been outed about something before online... I'm not sure what it was, maybe even trivial, anyway... I took this seriously, as you were being very serious too...
Even when you were being, very dickish to me, at least from my POV.. .I let you know, I was your friends, and that at one time you asked me for trust, I gave it to you and wouldn't betray it. I never wanted to bring up a specific, b/c asI told you many times, you hurt my feeling and threw my trust and friendship in my face, when you accused me falsely of doing something... you know what i speak, and when I did do something, I admitted to it, and it was after the accusations...
Asking me for trust, which i gave to you, is not something I take lightly. the cornerstone of my friendships is based on that...
Now it is your turn, who told you IP inof here? Who said it was from PA? Only the mods can do that, and as far as  I know, they don't...?

and i agree with obama being hypocritcalll, but the PA is not solely to keep us safe from attacks, there's stuff in there that had nothing to do national defense...

As for the pork, a few examples will give you the flavor of how out-of-control it has become:

Boeing was given a five-year, $1.37 billion contract to equip U.S. airports with "bomb screening devices" that experts say are "laughingly ineffective."
Northrop Grumman "landed a $350 million contract to construct a DHS data network.
"First-responder training facilities are springing up like toadstools after a rainstorm. The Nevada Test Site . . . which trains 3,000 fire fighters, paramedics, and policemen annually, is slated to quintuple that number as the DHS money rolls in."
The new Hampshire town of Bennington, population 1, 272, spent part of its Homeland Security grant to buy chemical weapons suits – just in case bin Laden chose Bennington as his next maximum impact target.
Local police departments in New Hampshire will get access to "satellite television channels that transmit continuous news," courtesy of a DHS grant.
Colchester, Vermont, population 18,000, received a DHS grant to purchase a "search-and-rescue vehicle" that "can bore through concrete and search for victims in collapsed buildings."
Thanks to the influence of Dick Cheney, "Wyoming receives more money per capita than any other state in homeland security grants."
And naturally, "a non-state – the District of Columbia – is far and away the biggest recipient of homeland security grants per capita," receiving more than twice as much as Dick Cheney’s home state.
Citgo, Conoco-Phillips, and Shell received tens of millions of dollars in DHS grants for "refiner security," something they are very well equipped to finance themselves.
The former mayor of Washington, D.C., Sharon Pratt, received a no-bid "bioterrorism consulting contract" for $236,000.
Forty "young people" in Washington, D.C. were paid by a DHS grant to "rap and dance about emergency preparedness."

Some of the ways to get someones IP addy's w/o mods help might piss of the mods and some users here, creepy stuff to say the least.... Saying you know who it is, and now not saying you won't say how you found out, kinda smells like BS, don't you think?
Wouldn't it be just as likely to be SS? And if it is someone hiding who they are, they can also change there IP's, most trolls and flamers do that, so as not to be banned easily... That's exactly what happened on Max's website and here too... and wasn't it Flea's ex that did that? My only real point is, you can't be sure, and how do we even know you're info is real or reliable? All it realy is is an unprovable accusation only meant to hurt, right?

Thanks for the advice.
I am not saying how I got the information.

I didn't give any advice...

anyway... so what's the IP? You give me that, I can find it out who it is... I have connections with tech geeks who do this for a living at my wife's company.

Tell me again, what was the "sole" purpose of the Patriot Act? Protecting US citizens?

I guess you haven't heard the evidence against Cheney's absolute power of the Presidency.

nanky clearly isn't going to give up his source. i, however, know who it was:

...

unless the mods let us know, which they won't, we will have no proof. as pdog pointed out, anyone can reroute their IP address if they know what they are doing. so even though riffy and nankopotamus think they know, they can never be sure.

that being said, JC is clearly an alias of a current or former poster. in fact, there are and have been a handful of aliases surface in the last few weeks and months....fallen angel...bingo....etc. fleabit is a possible candidate. all i know is that they aren't me....and i don't believe they are fiji either. and an alias isn't SS's style.

the most important thing here is that i have in my possession another alt country sure fire hit that will knock y'all's socks off. if you're wearing socks, that is.
