It's always a tactic of desperation meant to change the subject. Jesus Christ should not feel compelled to reveal anything he doesn't want to. He died to save humanity. Shouldn't that be enough? He uses humor and satire to completely lacerate his opponent's arguments point by point. It obviously infuriates them because they can't compete on that level.
