LOL! Gawd you're stupid as fuck! You see the idiot spending the next three generations money like a mad man, and you can't even acknowledge it! This fucking clown has quadrupled the deficit in just four months, and tyrants are on the rise everywhere, and you are either too stupid or too brainwashed to see it.

I almost pity you, but you're such a rude little bitch that I can only laugh at you.

Happy 4th of July, Mr. Riffhard.

Has it ever dawned on you that, based on what people actually SAY, NO ONE on this board is a brainwashed drone who blindly cheers on the President's every move?  It seems like most of us who receive your rudest and most obscene tongue-lashings (ewwww - sorry for THAT mental picture!) are cognizant of the fact that the last election was a choice between John McCain and the currently melting-down Sarah Palin, or Obama/Biden, and based on that limited field we made the only sane choice.

As has already been pointed out, the only people using the term "messiah" in relation to Obama are people like YOU.

...

I mean, come ON - do you really think _I_ believe he's the Messiah?

Yet, if the rest of us DON'T join in your shrill, unpatriotic denunciation of the duly elected POTUS, and don't subscribe to your simple-minded chicken little histrionics, we are branded "stupid as fuck" and an entire litany of rude, nasty pejoratives.

You really need to calm down and learn how to be a gracious loser.  Your side had eight years to try things your way, and it was a disaster. Your views have been discredited, and no matter how many names you call the people who voted you out of the driver seat, you're still not going to get the keys back anytime soon.

Obalama said that the unemployment rate would go up to 9% if his stimulus package wasn't passed. It passed yet unemployment is now 9.$5 & probably still rising. I know good people who are losing their jobs & probably many Obalamadrones will start losing their jobs too!

Honestly, she disappointed me too. Still, she's smarter than Biden(I know, that's not saying much...).

Honestly, I think she's smarter than she comes off. She really sounds BAD, but I have to think she knows Africa is a continent (as an example). It's just the media hype that escalates the moments. I also believe she IS NOT capable of high government office. The whole religious thing is absolute nonsense with the contemporary knowledge of evolution. I mean really, come on. Some favor the supernatural over scientific consensus? Really? Because professors are too liberal? Really? It is a pretty big crossroads. Think it through people  . . . One can still have spirituality without literal belief in some book.

Palin isn't able to distinguish between the adoring crowds versus her actual abilities. She is (IMO) starstruck. She thinks that because she can draw a large crowd, that she is capable of something big. She will never "know her song well, before she starts singing". An opportunist, if I ever saw one. Hopefully she will make money doing speeches and appearances. Pay her bills. She WILL NOT advance herself as a viable candidate. But she can fill coffers. That is her value.

Anyway, I sure hope the Repubs can pull themselves together, so that they can offer REAL alternatives to the Dems programs. We all know (or should ALL KNOW) that power corrupts, and absolute corrupts absolutely.

We surely are still in dangerous waters, regarding the economic situation. IT WILL TAKE TIME, and SUPPORT of our president. Who F-ing cares which party rectifies the recession, as long as it gets fixed. I mean really, WTF is the Repub leadership doing? NO, NO, NO. Who needs that? I want to hear ideas, not vague dissent.

Ok, all of this writing made me thirsty, I think I still have some Kool-Aid in the fridge . . . .

I hope everybody had a nice 4th, yeah, even my political opposites here. I DO BELIEVE you care for the country. Honestly!

Peace

I'm glad that I make you laugh though. It  must brighten up your apparently  miserable life.

You too have provided many a chuckle, snicker, and giggle.

Your whole rabid, ranting, name calling shtick is great. What are you going to do next, challenge me to a fight at the tire swing during recess?

Hope you had a great 4th of July, Patriot.

Republican economic strategy: do nothing, ride it out, like the Dems did for 6 of Bushs 8 years, than take over and do their own version of fucking up... that's partisan politics peeps... get over your self and love your country.

I challenge anyone here, to show me how Palins meltdown and uitting, doesn't proof everyone right who said she was not only a horrible choice, possibly the worst choice possible, and tell us again, like you did last year how great and qualified she was?
I love the retroactive broomi sweeping clean up by the right on stuff like this... they don't just move the gooals, they literally just start a different game.
Economically, right now... many companies have hang on, best they can, and it is vital that they grow or they will suffer hit from lay-offs and declines nearly impossible to turn around.
The only solution right now, is to stop printing all this magic make pretend money, and try to fight off the inflation when the GDP goes back up, which may start soon... otherwise, late 70's all over again.
Good luck, god bless... nurse those patriotic hangovers!!! haha!

I'll take that challenge. Let's talk about what is not being mentioned with regards to Palin. Namely that she has been challenged time and time again through the legal system with ridiculous allegations of malfeasance, corruption, and other ethics violations. To date she has had to answer 15 separate charges brought by Democrats. Mind you some of these Democrats are not even Alaskan Democrats! That's right, the DNC has been trying to tear her down ever since she signed up as McRino's running mate. In 15 separate court proceedings, she has won every single one and they haven't even been close! There were at least a dozen more charges and ethics investigations open. By all accounts, including those people that are not Plain supporters, she would have won every court action against her.

She bailed out, and why not?!?! The fucking mainstream liberals have had a hard on to bring her down since day one. She's a threat. She represents what Barry could never represent. She drew crowds that dwarfed even Barry's. She is a normal American who rose through the ranks of her state legislature to become the most popular governor in the country. She took on big oil, and made them bend to her wishes. So much of the truth about this woman is lost on so many that she's an easy target. I'll say right here without reservations-she would be a much better president than the idiot that resides at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. right now.

She and her husband have spent over $500,000.00 dollar of their own money to refute these stupid charges, and again, she won every single time! At some point she stepped back, looked at all the fucking cretins that were intentionally trying to tear her down and said, fuck it. Anyone here that finds that "melting down" or "quitting" has not even walked ten feet in her shoes! This lady has been attacked belligerently because of what she represents. Lies have told about her as well. For example, she never once claimed that dinosaurs were only six thousands years old. She never claimed that she could she Russia from back yard. She never claimed that man has only been around for six thousand years. These are all lies. Every one of them is a lie, but gullible types that instinctively hate her believe these lies. Why? Because they reaffirm why their hate is legitimate. To me it only reaffirms their idiocy.

A meltdown?! Hardly! Get to know the facts people! If you did you would probably side with Palin! But since you people have zero interest in knowing the truth, or, perish the thought, defending Sarah Palin, just keep on keeping on with your hate fest.

Our health care system IS NOT the envy of anybody, our medical techniques and treatment's ARE. Big difference.

Regarding Palin, I guess it's a good thing she didn't have to quit the VP position, had things gotten too tough for her.

You are simply wrong here funman. Dead wrong in fact. When rich Canadians need a major operation where do they go? Same goes for residents of the UK. My brother works for a company called Genzyme (sp?), anyway this company is a major supplier of oncology testing equipment, and the like. He talks with doctors all over North America. He says that every single one of them is petrified of Barry's plan because it will disincentivize any new doctors from starting a practice.

Socialized medicine works nowhere it's been tried. NOWHERE! You are more than twice as likely to die of cancer in Canada than in the USA. MRI's in Canada are not routine as they are here. Nor are pap smears in the UK. In the UK there are a full 300% more tooth extractions than there here in the USA. Why? Because there state run dental program sucks! This bullshit 47 million uninsured number is a joke! At least 18-20 million of those are illegal immigrants. Many of the others are only uninsured because they are between jobs. Read Levin's-Liberty and Tyranny. He uses the US Census Department's own numbers to prove this massive lie perpetrated by the left. In a recent Gallop poll a full 85% of Americans said that they were happy with their own insurance plan. Well Barry wants to destroy that plan! He wants everybody sucking on the government tit! Why? Because then he controls you completely. Only a complete moron would submit to allow some bureaucrat in DC to stand between them and their doctor. Sadly there are many drones out there that have no problem forcing everyone to bend to the will of the few. Barry uses that idiocy to advance his hard left cause.

You raise a very interesting point though. You said our "medical techniques" are the envy of the world. You're right! However, what new techniques do you think will see the light of day once any monetary incentive is removed from the equation? NONE! When you become patient # 18976534210 to some Washington beaurocrat you can forget all about any individual care that your private physician would determine.

You want to see the true face of nationalized healthcare? Than have the courage and the open mindness to read this----> http://www.americanissuesproject.org/blogs/aip/archive/2009/06/19/socialized-hea...

Barry wants to save money on health care costs by limiting service and rationing treatment options. Does that sound good to you?

As for Palin. Why don't you pay half a million dollars of your own hard earned cash defending yourself from baseless charges, with more waiting in the wings, and then talk to me about her quiting. She is systematically harassed for the sole reason of destroying her political career. Nothing more.

every politician gets shit, she is far from unique... I find it odd, strange and unbeleivable, that you, who spews the same exact stuff from right wing attackers to the elft, are complaining that it comes from the left to the right... that is hypocritical. And these numbers you're pointing out, about her money and all these court actions, are not factual. What charges, exactly did they spend a half million dollars in personal money to fight? Unless you know something I don't, there's no civil actions towards the Palins. The only legal concerns have been regarding her job, which is normal in government, people have the right, under our constitution to file fror grievance against our lleaders... and in those cases, lawyers are somethinf politicians have as part of their staff... goes with the job. Like I said, maybe there is a civil action against them, I am unaware of it, and if there is... yea, they pay for lawyers, just like every other citizen.
Can you show me a governor in the USA, who doesn't have this same crap going on? Look at Arnold in California... or Perry here in Texas... They have 1000 times the crap in a day, she had for her unfinished term.
bottom line, you just said, it was too hard, and she should've quit. Just what we need in a veep candidate.

When someone on the right says that, it is really hard not to piss myself laffing... they invented attack and smear politics...  and  place this above country and even god... they would rather destroy an opposing idea, and solve nothing of our countries problems, then try to find solutions...
All you have to do, is look at the massive effort to oppress homosexuals in USA, make them less than and not give them full rights... this by groups of people, who probably don't even know any gays, let alone ever be effected by giving another human being equal rights...
REALLY? yea..really!

But since you people have zero interest in knowing the truth, or, perish the thought, defending Sarah Palin, just keep on keeping on with your hate fest.

every politician gets shit, she is far from unique...

There is no governor in the US that has had to put up with the same crap as Palin. Alaska has some very arcane rules regarding litigating against the governor. There are rules in place in most states that prevent this from happening. Not so in Alaska. So she can be sued, and brought up on ethics charges over and over again and again. Even if these charges are completely baseless. They have been baseless, but the DNC is taking advantage of Alaska's own state law with regards to to litigation process. She is forced to pay her own legal bills, and the DNC get's the tax payer to foot the bill on their end. Does that sound fair to you? Would you stay in office when you knew that there were people whose sole reason for bringing charges against you was to destroy you? These people know full well that the charges are baseless, but they also know that the Palin's will be forced to answer the charges, and that they will be forcedto pay out of their own pockets. Again, does that sound fair to you? Do you think that the DNC is right to bring these baseless charges?

Let me ask you a question.

Do Democrats typically throw out a member of their party from power when ethics complaints are levied against them? No.

This explains why Barney Frank still holds on to power even after he was caught allowing a gay prostitution ring to operate out of his DC flat. This also explain why Charles Rangal can perpetrate tax fraud and still hold onto his chair at the House Ways and Means committee! Even Ted Kennedy would have had his political career ruined had he been a Republican. But no, he's a Democrat so all is good. I mean just look at all the tax cheats that are in the current administration. Do you think that Republicans would get away with this kind of shit?!

Take a hard look at Sarah Palin's troubles. She has done nothing wrong yet she is being systematically trashed by the media, Hollywood, and the DNC because of what she represents. She has been forced to swallow more shit than anyone, and then the same people that have trashed her, and filed these baseless charges against her are now slamming her for quitting.

I find it more than a little hypocritical that these same people who trash Palin have said nothing at all about Obama's own very legitimate ethics problems in years past. Not to mention all the very shady people that he chose to associate with. Why don't you Google how Obama destroyed those running against him in Chicago? Palin has never perpetrated the kind of politics of personal destruction that gave rise to Barry. Who does the media go after though?

what charges has the DNC brought against her...

Here's aFoxnews article... and it is clear, Fox is not left... and by this article, what you're saying isn't the truth, slightly eskew... sorry her own state has laws saying people can have a grievance against the governor, but she also stated, she was transparent, and opened the door for this herself.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin says her political enemies are abusing state law with a flurry of frivolous ethics complaints against her, putting her more than $500,000 in legal debt.

Those filing the grievances -- there have been at least 18 cases so far -- say it's their legal right to hold the Republican governor accountable for what they see as abuses of power.

The truth is probably somewhere in between.

"Are Alaskans outraged, or at least tired of this yet -- another frivolous ethics charge by a political blogger?" Palin asked in one statement.

Most of the complaints have been filed since last August, when Republican presidential candidate John McCain picked Palin as his running mate. And most have been denied.

Palin's office has called the multiple dismissals "mounting evidence that accusations of wrongdoing by the governor lack merit and have been politically or personally motivated."

Even some of Palin's critics question the validity of some of the complaints, and her supporters have waged a weeklong Webathon to raise money for a legal defense fund set up for the governor, ringing up more than $109,000 by day seven, Sunday.

But the number of filings may also reflect a broader awareness of ethics law in Alaska, where any citizen can send in any number of complaints. Some say they are taking Palin up on her own challenge to Alaska voters.

"She said she was going to be open, transparent and wanted people to hold her accountable," said Kim Chatman, an Eagle River resident whose complaint against Palin is among the few still pending. "I took her for her word."

All the complaints have been brought by Alaskans, except for one filed by Washington-based Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics alleging the $150,000-plus designer wardrobe the Republican Party bought to outfit Palin in her vice presidential quest violated the Federal Election Campaign Act. That complaint was dismissed.

One complaint, in which the Alaska Personnel Board found no wrongdoing, concluded with the governor agreeing to pay the state $10,000 for trips taken by her children -- money that is due Tuesday.

Another complaint, filed by Democratic blogger Linda Kellen Biegel, said Palin wore a jacket that promoted the sponsor of her husband's snowmobile racing team. That complaint, dismissed June 2, prompted Palin's statement about "frivolous" ethics charges.

Elected in 2006, Palin enjoyed an unprecedented 18-month honeymoon with Alaska residents and lawmakers alike until last July, when she fired Walt Monegan, the state's popular public safety commissioner.

Monegan believed he was terminated over his refusal to dismiss a state trooper who was involved in a contentious divorce with Palin's sister. Palin cited budgetary disagreements.

State lawmakers investigated, ultimately concluding the governor broke an ethics law that prohibits public officials from using their office for personal gain, although the firing itself was considered lawful since Monegan was an employee who could be dismissed at will.

Days after being named McCain's running mate, Palin said the legislative probe had become too political and filed a "self disclosure" with the Alaska Personnel Board, whose three members are appointed by the governor. The day before the presidential election, that investigation concluded that Palin violated no ethics laws.

Palin was wrong to publicly criticize the complaints before the appropriate government body -- the personnel board in most cases -- had a chance to analyze them, said Gregg Erickson, a Juneau economist and longtime watcher of Alaska politics. That's simply bad politics, he said.

"She rises to the bait fairly quickly when they troll these things by her," he said. "I think it's a weakness."

Chatman said she voted for Palin to be governor, but now sees her as unethical, sacrificing the state's interest to advance her national ambitions. Palin is widely believed to be considering a 2012 presidential run.

Chatman's complaint alleges Palin is misusing the governor's office for personal gain by securing unwarranted benefits and receiving improper gifts through the Alaska Fund Trust, which was established by supporters in April to help Palin pay her legal bills.

Alaska law mandates that ethics grievances remain confidential unless a public accusation is filed or the accused person agrees in writing to make it public. However, most complainants have ignored this requirement and have publicly discussed their grievances without any legal consequences.

"Why is confidentiality so important? So the process does not become a forum for partisan attacks, headline seekers and disgruntled wing-nuts," Palin attorney Thomas Van Flein said in an e-mail. "This is exactly the type of political gamesmanship the confidentiality clause was intended to prevent."

Chatman said she spoke with an attorney and learned she wouldn't breach confidentiality if she talked about her grievance before filing it in late April. She said she did just that, based on a lack of trust in the Palin administration.

"I thought it would be swept under the carpet if the public didn't know about it," she said.

Pdog that article does not refute anything that I posted. In fact it confirms much of it. It has become sport to file ethics grievances against Sarah Palin. To date she has had to defend herself on 15 separate occasions. She has won on all 15 charges, yet the charges keep coming. I don't care who the article says files the charges. The fact is that there is a concerted effort to keep using state law against her. Those that are doing the filing know full well that she will have to defend herself, and as the article makes clear, that is an expensive task. She has already shelled out over half a million dollars of her own money, and is now being forced to hold fundraisers. If I were a Democrat I would be ashamed of my party for going after her like this. It is nothing more than a political witch hunt, and because of the vagrancies of Alaskan law the Democrats know full well that they can just continue to hound her over and over again ad nauseum. The article claims that all charges, save one, have been filed by Alaskans. Big deal! If you don't think that the DNC is behind this effort to destroy Sarah Palin then I have a bridge to sell you. It's pathetic! The hatred, and fear, of Sarah Palin is total, and nothing will stop the haters from seeking her political demise. I have a very funny feeling that Palin is going to have the last laugh. In fact I'd bet on it.
