I just heard that today the House Republicans are voting against refunding the troops.

Guess they were never serious about their support all these years . . .

Is there any context to this story? IOW, is "support for the troops" tied to some cockamamie scheme to bankrupt this nation even more?

Oh stop with the young shit there, Honcho. You're busted. You've alluded to being 40 something around here but it's hard to fathom anybody with your intellectual deficits could've made it that far. Do a little history search on Neocons.

Kiss my ass you stupid young punk! Many here have met me, and I needn't prove a damn thing to you. It is also abundantly clear that you know absolutely nothing about true neocons! Intellectual deficits?! LOL! I'll compare my education, and my intellect with you any day of the week you stupid YOUNG punk!

But just to put a point on the history of neocons, look here-from Wikipedia

"Neoconservatism is a political philosophy that emerged in the United States of America, and which supports using American economic and military power to bring liberalism, democracy, and human rights to other countries.[1][2][3] Unlike traditional conservatives, neoconservatives are generally comfortable with a minimally-bureaucratic welfare state; and, while generally supportive of free markets, they are willing to interfere for overriding social purposes.[4]"

In other words 2000prick, neocons are former liberals that still believe in the welfare state. Frankly neocons are not all that bad. The media and far left bomb throwers like Krugman have tried desperately to cast dispersions on the term, and the belief system. Why? Because neocons flatly reject what they once embraced. Namely, liberalism. They have seen the the error of their ways. Far left ideologues can't stand them because they naturally infer that neocons are in some stupid liberal logic, traitors to the cause. Something that, sadly, you still believe in because you are an idiot.

Now go away child. The adults are talking here.

I would like to point out the fact that the moron who insultingly uses JC as an alias is a pussy of the highest order. I have never once used an alias because I believe firmly in what I post. I don't hide those beliefs nor do I back down from them. However, the person posing as JC is a pussy that won't come right out and post as himself/herself/itself.

in JC's defense, riffy, the "that is all" signature brings back bad memories of tele. perhaps you could change it to "that is enough", "that's all she wrote" or "that's all, folks".

And this just in. From Bloomberg-"Obama Says U.S. Jobless Rate to Reach 10% This Year"

http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=acS92O5awdhM

Gee, I wonder who has been saying that for the last month. Oh, that's right, I have been.

The cult leader is gonna see his numbers sink like a rock. And why wouldn't they? He sucks.

I will, of course, still make damned sure to point it out when the magic 10% unemployment number becomes reality.

So in a short five months Barry's insane spending policies have cost us about 1.4 million jobs since his inauguration with thousands of more losses on the way! Bravo! Hope! Change! Ain't it great?

I read a lot about the disgust for our President, but I don't believe you or anybody here hopes that anybody loses their job. Even liberals have young children who would be affected by their parents loss of income.

The job loss that continues is still the result of the trickle down policies that opened the throttle on greed. That's the lesson. Nobody cares who gets rich, but when these exploits affect the masses it becomes intolerable. Right? Say we did get McCain instead, and he let GM fail. Would you get upset at the job losses?

I haven't offended either. Nor have I cursed. Not in that post anyway. LOL

It's not that I want anyone to lose their job; I just thing it would be a 'teachable moment' for Obamatrons to have the economy redound on them. Here's this idiot who has done EVERYTHING wrong & despite our best warnings, we're headed for stagflation yet again. CARTER REDUX!

I personally find it more than a little upsetting that a man that some people clearly think can do no wrong has so badly screwed our economy. I mean the guy inherits a large deficit. And for this deficit, I and many other conservatives, slammed Bush. What does Barry do with it? He more than quadruples it, and the Obamadrones claim he "had to" because of Bush! It's laughable because it's so obviously an idiotic stance! Any first year economics student can tell you that you can't spend your way out of debt. So taken are the drones with this false prophet that they believe everything that their dear leader tells them.

Anyone noticed that Barry has voted "present" yet again with regards to the uprising in Iran? This "leader" hasn't had the balls or will to come out and say right up front, "We support the Iranian people as they struggle for their individual freedoms and unalienable rights against a tyrannical regime." See that right there is the difference between a leader and a smooth talking bullshit artist. Reagan had the guts to literally go to the wall for the people of Eastern Europe. When his advisers warned him not say "tear down this wall!" Reagan stood on his firm convictions and pressed East Germany and Gorby anyway. Barry is 12 thousand miles away in the comfort of the Oval Office and he still can't be bothered to stand up for freedom. Yet the drones keep on droning. Pathetic.

Sure hope this post doesn't offend anyone. Just calling them as I see them, and as they are.

Is Obama planning on destroying private insurance plans in favour of a socialized single-payer plan? Yes. Is Obama doing this with the full knowledge that it will destroy the insurance industry? Yes. Is Obama lying about his true goals with this health care plan? Hell yes! Are we the American people stupid enough to let him get away with it? I pray to God no.

Don't believe me? Well frankly I don't care whether you believe me or not. However, I wonder if you are so far gone that you refuse to believe your own eyes and ears.

Watch this. I dare ya! I double dog dare ya!

If this dosen't wake you drones up nothing will! Nobody can defend this crap, but I'd love to hear some of you Obamadrones try.

This president is desperately trying to force his ideological beliefs on the entire country, and if he succeeds then we are all screwed. Time to wake the hell up drones! It's not too late to reject this Marxist bastard. If he gets this through your employer based coverage is gone! GONE! You will then be at the will and mercy of the federal government. That is exactly what Barry Co. wants, and if your so stupid not to see it then you will deserve the crap health care that you get! The government has done such a great job with Medicaid and Medicare, no? Both those institutions are flat broke and only massive tax increases can save them. Yet Barry claims that he can magically cover the entire US population with health insurance without a single tax increase!!! LOL! Some idiots actually believe him.

Funny. Did you watch the video SG? Did you watch it? Some people seemingly will defend this guy only because they are too full of pride to admit that they and their dear leader are wrong. Please tell me your not one of those people SG. This man is out to destroy the greatest health care system in the world! Is it perfect? No. However, it's a whole hell of a lot more perfect than any socialized health care system in the world.

So, did you watch the video?  He wants to control you SG. He wants to control every single aspect of your, and your family's, lives. Are you going to let him?

Obama probably wouldn't be such a bad president with a republican majority in congress.

THIS is kinda why I almost wanted a Democrat to win in 2004. He wouldn't have been able to accomplish much on the far left and the Republican party probably wouldn't have been marginalized beyond impotence in 2008.

This is why I blame the Bushgeeks more than anything for what's happening now.

True true true... too many are too quick to blame presidents, but the real problems are withing our Congress, where career polticians and special interest groups just rum amok! It has nothing to do with party, conservative or liberal, it is just a bunch of stroking, reach around bullshittters who have sold us out a long time ago. The biggest let down after the free pass given after sept 11th, is the contract with America, I had so much hope that a real movent and political revolution was going to take place, but like everything else, it was empty words used to get and hold power... the only threat to America is the government of the USA!

Reagan was a robot and "Bushgeeks" are to blame for the screw-ups in the Obama Administration?

You two liberals ought to pool your grey matter and see if you can scare up a decent-sized brain!
