While Barry and Michelle are in the UK making assinine diplomatic blunders The Socialist One's minions in the House just passd a budget that spends more than every president prior to Barry Co. combinded! Are people so stupid as to not see that their futures are being sold out from under them?!?! So let me make sure I have this right. When Bush was spending like an idiotic drunken sailor on leave the liberals were screaming bloody murder about deficit spending, but now that the entire world is in a massive recession it makes perfect sense to destroy our kids' futures? Do I have that about right? Anyone care to defend this incredibly dangerous spending? Not that anyone can defend it, but anyone here want to try and give it a try?

Ok, here's the President's speech from today.
Clearly, in the realm of Lincoln he is not, and will never be.
He's starting to exhibit the hallmarks of his good
buddy Bill Ayers, who, as a member of the Weather Underground
constantly trashes America.  You read right, trash
America.  I gave this guy time to show he's a leader,
as the majority of folks here claim he is.
With this one sentence, he's lost myself, and a lot
of people for good..You call yourself the POTUS, and
you trash the country you are from, or, are you from this
country?  Your wife called us sloths during the campaign.
You both should be ashamed.

That's great BJ. I know that the world now likes us again thanks to The Socialist One, but what's he doing on the homefront? His proposed budget just passed in both the House and Senate on a party line vote. You guys own this budget now. Have fun defending it. When Barry Co. signs this budget into law he will have just created a one trillion dollar deficit every year for the next ten years. With one stroke of his socialist pen he will have put us an additional $10,000,000,000,000.00 in debt. Just to put that in to proper perspective, he will have just signed away (read-stolen) more of our money than all other US presidents combinded! He will also increase the size of the federal government more than any president in US history. What is it about progressive types (snicker...nothing progressive about a huge central government!) that feel that it is necessary for society to have a master? You can continue to worship this man, but I see him for what he really is. He's a hard left ideologue who has all intentions of determining exactly how we should live (and die for that matter! Just wait for the clusterfuck that will be national healthcare!), and how much we can make for our labor. Anyone that can't see through this guy isn't really looking very hard.

Oh, and then there's this from the UK's Guardian...............

The question that flummoxed the great orator

Barack Obama, the World's Greatest Orator (™all news organisations), didn't exactly cover himself in glory when the BBC's political editor Nick Robinson asked him a question about who was to blame for the financial crisis. Normally word perfect, Obama ummed, ahed and waffled for the best part of two and a half minutes. Here, John Crace decodes what he was really thinking ...

Nick Robinson: "A question for you both, if I may. The prime minister has repeatedly blamed the United States of America for causing this crisis. France and Germany both blame Britain and America for causing this crisis. Who is right? And isn't the debate about that at the heart of the debate about what to do now?" Brown immediately swivels to leave Obama in pole position. There is a four-second delay before Obama starts speaking [THANKS FOR NOTHING, GORDY BABY. REMIND ME TO HANG YOU OUT TO DRY ONE DAY.] Barack Obama: "I, I, would say that, er ... pause [I HAVEN'T A CLUE] ... if you look at ... pause [WHO IS THIS NICK ROBINSON JERK?] ... the, the sources of this crisis ... pause [JUST KEEP GOING, BUDDY] ... the United States certainly has some accounting to do with respect to . . . pause [I'M IN WAY TOO DEEP HERE] ... a regulatory system that was inadequate to the massive changes that have taken place in the global financial system ... pause, close eyes [THIS IS GOING TO GO DOWN LIKE A CROCK OF SHIT BACK HOME. HELP]. I think what is also true is that ... pause [I WANT NICK ROBINSON TO DISAPPEAR] ... here in Great Britain ... pause [SHIT, GORDY'S THE HOST, DON'T LAND HIM IN IT] ... here in continental Europe ... pause [DAMN IT, BLAME EVERYONE.] ... around the world. We were seeing the same mismatch between the regulatory regimes that were in place and er ... pause [I'VE LOST MY TRAIN OF THOUGHT AGAIN] ... the highly integrated, er, global capital markets that have emerged ... pause [I'M REALLY WINGING IT NOW]. So at this point, I'm less interested in ... pause [YOU] ... identifying blame than fixing the problem. I think we've taken some very aggressive steps in the United States to do so, not just responding to the immediate crisis, ensuring banks are adequately capitalised, er, dealing with the enormous, er ... pause [WHY DIDN'T I QUIT WHILE I WAS AHEAD?] ... drop-off in demand and contraction that has taken place. More importantly, for the long term, making sure that we've got a set of, er, er, regulations that are up to the task, er, and that includes, er, a number that will be discussed at this summit. I think there's a lot of convergence between all the parties involved about the need, for example, to focus not on the legal form that a particular financial product takes or the institution it emerges from, but rather what's the risk involved, what's the function of this product and how do we regulate that adequately, much more effective coordination, er, between countries so we can, er, anticipate the risks that are involved there. Dealing with the, er, problem of derivatives markets, making sure we have set up systems, er, that can reduce some of the risks there. So, I actually think ... pause [FANTASTIC. I'VE LOST EVERYONE, INCLUDING MYSELF] ... there's enormous consensus that has emerged in terms of what we need to do now and, er ... pause [I'M OUTTA HERE. TIME FOR THE USUAL CLOSING BOLLOCKS] ... I'm a great believer in looking forwards than looking backwards.

Whew yeah, that Obama - real power broker there.

So instead of recognzing a formal list list of tax havens, he got France and China to agree to only consider them.

What a bridge builder!

...

Hey BJ, since you recall Obama's Hah-vid days so fondly, what were his grades like?
I mean, he never released that information during his campaign, right?
In fact, other touting that he was the head of the Law Review, we know nothing about his academic record?
Was he an A student or did he barely make it through?
Did he have some amazing LSAT scores - or is he a product of Harvard Affirmative Action?
Did he have any issues - you know, did he pull a Biden and plagiarize any of his law school papers?
Just curious?

Well, well, well.

North Korea launched it's ICBM and we did nothing!
We didn't shoot it down - as Obama had warned.
That remarkable force of diplomacy Hillary did nothing -- she could have at least given them a red button that says "Fire at Will" in Korean!

Brilliant foreign policy on the part of Obama who, incidently, was speaking in Prague how he believed we could have a nuke-free world.

What irony!

A rouge nuclear power with an ICMB fires one across our collective bow and our leader is talking disarmament.

Of all the nut case leaders that Obama should sit down and talk with, he decides to play chicken.

...

Nope, instead, Obama will run to the United Nations.
The UN will denounce the Korean launch in very VERY harsh words.
That'll teach them!
Maybe issue some sanctions against the North Koreans -- "No Soup For You!"

"No big thang Holmes, jus' chill man!"

Perhaps the issue is more complicated than you or I can understand.

Do you have an opinion on how this should have been handled?

What if we did attempt to shoot the missile out of the air, and we missed?
(we had a lot of problems with Patriot missiles, trying to stop SCUD's from hitting Israel)

Not trying to be a smart ass, just wondering what you think the better option would have been . . .

Absolutely Fuman.

But it might have been better to shoot it down. Who knows for sure? The US I believe has alot more nuclear firepower on the Korean Penninsula than that nut Jong. So he knows that any nuclear attack on  South Korea will result in his own obliteration.....the problem is that the guy is a whacko....so who knows.....isn't this what we pay our diplomats for? The Chinese, and possibly the Russians, are the only ones with any leverage over the guy.

The man is a joke. Both in his handling of domestic issues and foreign affairs. He goes to the UK and apologizes for America's "arrogance", and "ignorance". WTF? He says to Russia's Medvedev that the USA has allowed our relationship to "drift" by becoming "dismissive" towards it. Again, WTF?! Not only is he throwing our country under the bus, like he did his pastor and his "typical" white grandmother, but he goes out of his way to dump on the Bush Admin while he's at it.

He has no problem ignoring Russia's dispicable behavior of the last few years. No. It's our fault that Russia invaded Georgia and created a condition that was ripe for communist revolution in that country. He has zero problems with Russia trying to depose a democratically elected government. He has zero problems with Putin playing the heavy and rising to the rank of tyrant while turning the free market into pure crony capitalism and hardcore political blackmail, if not outright governmental takeover. Of course Barry's not going to mention that! He believes in it! Barry seemingly finds it perfectably acceptable to ignore Russia's blakmail of the natural gas pipelines that fuel most of Europe too. He also ignores their deployment of missles on the Poland boarder. That, the liberals claim, is a response to Bush's arrogance! Unbelievable! Russia is flexing it's muscles to the largest degree since the end of the Cold War and Barry apologizes for our behavior! This is the great leader that progressive (snicker!) liberals want us to have faith in? Count me out.

As if his ineptness in dealing with Russia weren't bad enough, his handling of North Korea is even worse! A complete fold from the current Admin. and the US State Dept. Nothing! What, a formal complaint from the UN? Please. Then he all but ignores our ties with Taiwan, giving China an indirect message of this Admin.'s ambivalence towards even engaging on the issue. Stupid.

Or what about his direct message that he has been sending to Iran, Syria, and Hamas? The guy not only is ready to sell out the USA's own self-interests, but now he's ready to engage in diplomacy with three entities that have vowed the destruction of the only true democracy in the Middle East! Israel is our ally! He's ready to sell them out completely. This is leadership? To just "go European" with diplomacy will never work with these radicalized Islamists. To think otherwise is pure ignorance, and more importantly, incredibly dangerous. What does Barry Co. think that Iran learned with our respose towards North Korea's missle launch? This moron is no leader! This is his first job FFS! He is in so far over his head it's pathetic. What's worse is that the drones either can't see it, or refuse to see it.

I would bet that we got ALL of the missile telemetry, and now have a solid understanding of their capability. We probably learned WHERE they are getting the technology for their missile program. And most importantly, how to defeat/manipulate the guidance system.

Just saying that it isn't always as straight forward as it seems.
