"America, I know you are frightened about the state of the economy.  But this is not the time to panic.  Even though the Dow has lost 50% of its all time high value, with 20% of that since I took office, and even though 4 million people have lost their jobs since late 2007, with half of those since I took office, this little promper-thingy here still tells me to tell you that we are going to be alright.  And it had never lied to me once - unlike the Ouija board I used to use in the Senate and that crazy 8-ball thing that I used to use in Chicago.  I promise that once you all get jobs again, and assuming you don't lose your houses, you can probably buy up some of those formerly "blue chip" stocks like GM and Citibank which are really good buys right now despite being on the verge of bankruptcy.  So even if they go under, you might lose a few bucks -- but man, what an opportunity, eh?  Thanks for listening."

Well, tell that to the WSJ and NYT too!

I am not laying all of the blame for the economy on Obama.
There is plenty of blame to go around.

But what I am laying on him is his lack of leadership and poor decisions that have added more uncertainty to an already battered economy.  Precisely the concerns that many of us had before the election.

Someday you might even get your head out of your ass, wasteajizz,
but I highly doubt it.

Hey, I got an idea!
Let's just push the "reset" button!
Or is it the "overcharge" button?
Those Russians, seems like they have a word for everything!

When the leader of the Free World doesn't know what a "profit/earnings ratio" is, he'll get the blame. This guy is stupider than those who voted for him. And that's mighty fucking stupid!

LOL! How true is that?!

A quick show of hands. How many people are now willing to admit that Obama is clueless? Geitner still hasn't even filled the deputy treasury position! Damn, this administration is quickly earning the title of "worst ever", and yes, that includes W.

Let's see, a 3000 point drop in the Dow since team Obama took over, an average 30%-35% loss in all pensions and 401k earnings, and a record amount of job losses! Great start for The Socialist One! Any Barry supporters starting to figure it out yet? Or are we still going to blame all of this on Bush? And if we are for how long? If Barry can take credit for the hiring of 25 police officers in Columbus, Ohio does that mean that he also gets credit for 2.6 million job losses since he won the nomination? Just wondrin'.

Yes! Ladies and gentlemen I present to you a first class Obamadrone! Now you all know what one looks like! This drone is a perfect example of the Obamadrone reaction. Facts mean nothing to the drone-like feeble minded types like 2000monkey.

Beware this type of drone people! They will use every trick in the book to distract you from the fact that they are clueless. (in this they are very much like their leader The Socialist One)

The Dow is down by over 30% since The Socialist One came into power. December was the worst month ever for job losses. Pensions and 401Ks have taken a massive hit, but the Obamadrone can, and will, always find a way to shift the blame. For if an Obamadrone, like 2000monkey, were to actually face the reality of Barry's ineptitude then his life would have no meaning! Most of us, the non-drones, already know that 2000monkey's life has no meaning. He is convinced that he is right even when every single economic indicator proves that he is wrong. Drones don't like facts so they ignore them. They just keep dancing to the droning tune in their own heads.

Don't let this happen to you! Read. Dig up the facts. Study the history of The Socailist One's background. Imagine, if all the Obamadrones, like 2000 monkey, actually took the time to find out what The Socialist One was really all about prior to November?! Hell, we may not be in the position that we currently find ourselves. It's like pissing in the wind though. Because drones, like 2000 monkey, can't be bothered to actually do any research themselves. They are spoon fed their attitudes by asshats like Keuth Olberfuck, Chris "Tingle up my leg" Matthews, and idiotic websites like DU. Plus they have such seething rage for all things conservative, and all things Bush, that they blindly march to the beat of socialism/Marxism. I almost feel sorry for Obamadrones, like 2000 monkey, but their complete and utter idiocy and anger dashes any sympathy rather quickly.

It's not too late to avoid the label of Obamadrone, like 2000 monkey, but you must first admit that you have a problem. Some Obamadrones, like 2000 monkey, will never find salvation. For them the game is already over. They are Obamadrones for life. For you though? Two dear friends of mine were Obamadrones too! It's true! Last week they both peeled the Obama '08 stickers off their cars! Salvation at last! You can avoid the Obamadrone syndrome by recognizing the symptoms. 2000 monkey is a case study on Obamadronism. Don't feel sorry for him. Just study him, and avoid falling into the idiocy that that he embraces and exhibits so openly.

Even the nation's liberal historians could only disgrace W enough to mark him as #36 on our list of Presidents. There have been 42. So as far as worst ever, even they don't claim that. These are the same folks who gave Ronald Reagan low marks right after he left office so time will tell with W. I mean, these people had the cojones to put Jimmy Moron Carter at #26 and we all know how badly he sucked.

Biden used to be smarter than he is now. That refers to the last sentence of the following cut'n'paste...

Perhaps it's just some Obama ally speaking out of school. But these are probably some of the most terrifying words to come from an unidentified source in some time:

Sources close to the White House say Mr Obama and his staff have been "overwhelmed" by the economic meltdown and have voiced concerns that the new president is not getting enough rest.

British officials, meanwhile, admit that the White House and US State Department staff were utterly bemused by complaints that the Prime Minister should have been granted full-blown press conference and a formal dinner, as has been customary. They concede that Obama aides seemed unfamiliar with the expectations that surround a major visit by a British prime minister.

But Washington figures with access to Mr Obama's inner circle explained the slight by saying that those high up in the administration have had little time to deal with international matters, let alone the diplomatic niceties of the special relationship.

Allies of Mr Obama say his weary appearance in the Oval Office with Mr Brown illustrates the strain he is now under, and the president's surprise at the sheer volume of business that crosses his desk.

A well-connected Washington figure, who is close to members of Mr Obama's inner circle, expressed concern that Mr Obama had failed so far to "even fake an interest in foreign policy".

A British official conceded that the furore surrounding the apparent snub to Mr Brown had come as a shock to the White House. "I think it's right to say that their focus is elsewhere, on domestic affairs. A number of our US interlocutors said they couldn't quite understand the British concerns and didn't get what that was all about."

The American source said: "Obama is overwhelmed. There is a zero sum tension between his ability to attend to the economic issues and his ability to be a proactive sculptor of the national security agenda.

"That was the gamble these guys made at the front end of this presidency and I think they're finding it a hard thing to do everything."

It's at moments like this I'm reminded of this assessment of Obama, back in 2007: "I think he can be ready, but right now I don't believe he is. The presidency is not something that lends itself to on-the-job training."

That assessment came from . . . Vice President Joe Biden.

Tis true I'm afraid Blue. But I must stress again that I have seen two very dear friends of mine reject The Socialist One after having voted for him proudly. Stickers were removed Blue! There is hope! Real hope mind you. Not the lying ends-justify-the-means hope of the Saul Alinsky loving Barry. So while you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink. Sometimes if you beat the shit out of the horse with cold hard facts then they will evenually drink. As I have stated previously the bloom is coming off the rose for The Socialist One, regardless of the poll numbers. Barry claims that the Wall Street numbers are "not unlike a political tracking poll". What Barry, and his drones seemingly fail to understand is that this particular "tracking poll" is reflective of the fear that Wall Street is showing because of these insane policies that The Socialist One is pushing. Considering that a full 50% of Americans have a stake in the goings on of Wall Street via pensions or 401Ks, I'd say that sooner rather than later some Obamadrones will be forced to drink the water whether they want to or not. At that time blaming Bush will be like tits on a bull. In other words, useless. Barry will own the economy outright with nobody to blame but himself. Of course, 2000 monkey and his ilk will contine their daily mantra, "Yes we can, hope, change, yes we can, hope, change, yes we........." ad nauseum.

More evidence of Obalama's genuine stupidity. Who voted for this maroon again?

The New York Times reports the following from its interview with Pres. Obama aboard Air Force One — the same interview during which he floated engagement with the Taliban as the way to go in Afghanistan:

During the interview, Mr. Obama also left open the option for American operatives to capture terrorism suspects abroad even without the cooperation of a country where they were found. “There could be situations — and I emphasize ‘could be’ because we haven’t made a determination yet — where, let’s say that we have a well-known Al Qaeda operative that doesn’t surface very often, appears in a third country with whom we don’t have an extradition relationship or would not be willing to prosecute, but we think is a very dangerous person,” he said.

“I think we still have to think about how do we deal with that kind of scenario,” he added. The president went on to say that “we don’t torture” and that “we ultimately provide anybody that we’re detaining an opportunity through habeas corpus to answer to charges.”

Aides later said Mr. Obama did not mean to suggest that everybody held by American forces would be granted habeas corpus or the right to challenge their detention. In a court filing last month, the Obama administration agreed with the Bush administration position that 600 prisoners in a cavernous prison on the American air base at Bagram in Afghanistan have no right to seek their release in court.

Instead, aides said Mr. Obama’s comment referred only to a Supreme Court decision last year finding that prisoners held at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, have the right to go to federal court to challenge their continued detention.

It appears that either Obama thinks all war captives are entitled to challenge their detention in federal court or he is not up to speed on what his Justice Department has been doing lately.  But — assuming the Times is reporting this accurately — his remarks addressed people we will capture in the future (“I think we still have to think about how do we deal with that kind of scenario”), which means he was most certainly not talking about the prisoners held at Guantanamo Bay — most of whom have been in our custody for years.

The Supreme Court's Boumediene decision leaves open many important questions, but the most important is whether the new constitutional right it invented, court review of detention for enemy prisoners, applies uniquely to Gitmo or extends everywhere on earth where the U.S. government acts.  Maybe Obama misspoke, but what he said was alarming, to say the least.

For my friends who are the apparent targets of these accusations, I have a decoder cross-reference to help you understand what is trying to be conveyed here:

- Someday you might even get your head out of your ass = I wish you would have used MY criteria for deciding who to vote for.

- This guy is stupider than those who voted for him = see above.

- I'll mark you down in the brainless Obamadrone column = see above again.

- Facts mean nothing to the drone-like feeble minded types = facts and opinions are the same thing to me.

- These people are IN LOVE with the Dim One = I don't like what I am hearing from President Obama, so I'll insult you, and him.

- or what they have been told to say rather = since we say what we have been told to say, I reason that they must do the same.
(I mean really, who says what they're "told to say", although Rush does label his listeners ditto heads, pretty close)

In closing I would just say, remember how you felt when W was in. That's what they're going through . . . . with the added fear of losing their savings.

BTW People like 2000Monkey are not smart enough to ever admit that this guy sucks. They'll always rejoin any attacks on the Dim One's record with "W was worse!" or "Limbaugh told you to say that!" They are dishonest scum.

Yes indeed. However, to them they are not being dishonest. They actually believe what they say, or what they have been told to say rather. Thus they are Obamadrones!

Boo Hoo, It must be tough, having to look to Rush and two or three other stone age lesbians for guidance. You know it's over, the revolution which began with the Reagan crap-Kaput! How many reliable red states are there now? Five? Plus, your fan base is dying off. Nobody listens to right wing radio hacks anymore but shut -ins and insane truckers.

You loved it when W threw money up a hog's ass for eight years and now Obama controls the piggy bank and it just eats away at you.... Oh well!

Fuman, you weren't here at the beginning of this thread (Iassume)but we had a few people who giggled when asked why they were opting for Obalama over McCain even though McCain had the smarts, experience & wisdom way beyond the turd who eventually won. They couldn't really respond & they still can't. Obalama isn't very bright & I hate that he's been portrayed that way in the media. Look at the article from The Telegraph that I pasted above. Obalama is "tired" from all his hard work. LOL Remember the guffaws when W said that being President was hard? And that was after 6 years of attacks from the Left. Obalama has gotten a free ride so far & he still is "tired." Poor baby. I bet he's never worked so hard in his life. You can take that to the bank.
