LJ and co...i agree...it is an embarassment. daschle, richardson and the rest should have done their homework (not to mention their taxes) before they went up for confirmation.
that being said, it is an embarassment for the administration, but i fail to see how obama should be held responsible. riffy keeps ripping barry because daschle didn't pay his taxes? come now...does barry have to go over the financial records of all of his appointees before he offers them the cabinet post?
Quote:Can you name me any GOPers who had to resign because they hadn't paid their taxes? I recall one from W's early days. It's ironic that the same fucking pigs who want to raise MY taxes won't pay THEIRS!!!! It's incredible that so many morons voted for this farce. I'm so angry right now. ANGRIER THAN CHRISTIAN BALE!!!!
...and lest we forget:
donald "screw the generals & admirals" rumsfeld? alberto "fire all the dems in the state dept" gonzales? scooter "perjury" libby? how about bernie "illegal nanny" kerik? or even paul "get my girlfriend a raise" wolfowitz at the world bank?
it goes both ways.
The term is "vetting".
Yes, Obama is responsible for proper vetting.
Never mind the diaper arguments about the past
We are all supposed to let the past go, right Buckinator?
We are supposed to be the period of Kumbaya, right?
Even you, in these threads urged people to leave the past behind.
Now, when the Messiah has several miss-steps, you dredge up the
Republican administration of the past eight years.
What a hero move.
This is all about the "change" administration.
Change was screamed from the highest rafters
Change was screamed at the coronation at Mile High Stadium
Change was screamed from Grant Park.
Change is not within any of these appointments.
So far, there has been no change.
Just more of the same, good old boy network.
