Yes perhaps she was more closely aligned with Palin from an intelligence stand point.

I've got one 3 letter word for you: J-O-B-S!

Jinx you owe me a Coke!

How 'bout Biden asking the handicapped guy to stand up & take a bow?

I'll let O'Bama give you the Coke! Didja see that video of a woman averring that O'Bama's gonna pay her rent & buy her food? I'd say she's delusional but who knows? It's more specific than anything he uttered.

I was talking with my sister before & I talked about the "57 states" & "breathalyzers" for kids comments & she'd never heard that stuff. If Sarah Palin had said that, gimmekeef & Katie Couric would have had a field day.

Another classic in tone-deafness from the Republican Party:  a complaint to the Federal Elections Commission about Barack's visit to his dying (now deceased) grandmother.  As Joe Biden would say, "Folks, you can't make this stuff up."

Did I tell you this story ? I live in France. I also happen to live just upstairs from an Islamic bookshop. They sell moralistic tales for kids, little Ipod-like thingies with an uploaded Qur'an audio, all sorts of stuff. A few weeks ago, I saw Obama's autobiography right in the middle of their window display. Riffhard would be sooo mad if he knew !

Ugly = an umlaut armband on the Pope's dress.  One can define by way of example.

You know what this election is?  Its like 10-15 million people going into a ballot booth and believing that punching a chad for Obama is magically time warping them back to 2000 when they were misguided enough to vote for a retard, as if there were some kind of absolution for pathetic past judgment.  It doesn't work that way.  John McCain is BY FAR the more qualified candidate, in all respects.  He's probably one of the most qualified people in the entire country.  And he has zip to do with George Walker Bush III, other than being in the same party.  He can't stand the guy, in fact.

We don't need "change" in Washington and never did.  We need change in idiotic voters.  Obama is an outdated civil rights activist who taked a lot of BS and then left other people holding the bag.  Get used to that Starbong.  My sense of that guy is he loves to talk, loves to show, and hates doing any real work.  If he was some profound thinker or visionary, that would be okay, it would make up for it.  He's not.  Not even close.  I'm still waiting on these great speeches he's supposedly capable of.  He's going to let you guys down so bad with his uninformed nonsense and mediocrity.  Who needs this basura?  Why now of all freakin' times?  And it detracts from what would be an otherwise significant event - the first black president - because he's nothing more than a cheap, feel-good reaction to current absurdities.

Did it strike anyone as curious as I that Jesse & Al, Charlie Wrangel have been notably absent from
this hoopla?  Think they will all be at the Chi-Town Hootenany 2 nite, or, are they excluded for being too......black?

Nellie, like I said once, they are not around, and neither are the rest of their creepy race baiting buddies (Farrakhan, Terrell, Isiah), because they are out of a fucking job.  Those guys and their bullshit schtick are done.  One of the few bright spots in Obama's election.

The amazing thing is the Dems are also going to pick up 8 or 9 Senate seats. The GOP has some work to do over the next few years. It seems like it was just 4 years ago we were talking about a re-alignment...

AMEN MOONIE!!! You've just found the words I've been looking for this entire thread!!!

I only had to wait about 10 minutes.
Stood behind a Mom with her 6ish year old son. She explained everything to him and once inside the booth I could see she lifted him up to pull the lever.
I, of course, got choked up. IMAGINE THAT!!!

Vote proudly cast for Sen. John McCain.

LJ.

Walked in, voted, walked out.  Under 5 min.
More people voting the boxes were filling fast & furious.
I asked if they were letting folks from other towns vote, and got THE LOOK, which
made my day.  They did tell me someone from New Jersey stopped by to ask
if they could vote here, Riffy, were you in town?
I saw Fox @ 1P ( Martha Macallum was looking particularly snappy today)
live remote from O H I O, Meg, I did not see you?

Fugly is coming!

Now Nellie you know I cast my vote 2 weeks ago.

I was texted earlier  that BBC was broadcasting live from Columbus. WOW!! Grin :funny

LJ.

Months ago, I read someone's blog post about how if on Nov. 5th, we hear how McCain was said to have run "an honorable campaign" that would mean he lost. Ironically, he'll be attacked for having run a dishonorable campaign & still will have lost. I'm not sure if he ran a bad campaign or if that one ran a good campaign or if the MSM just floated him in but this has got to be one of the worst defeats imaginable for the only qualified candidate this go-round. Clearly, O'Blama is unqualified (at least as unqualified as the Gov. of AK) yet he's getting  a free ride. Interesting times are a curse!

Don't count McCain out just yet Blue. Currently he's leading in PA, Fla, and Va. He is tied in OH.

However, the dirty stinking Democrats are up to their old tricks. They are trying to disenfranchise thousands of military votes again! Shocker! Deja Vu all over again.

At a prominent voting precinct in Philly the Black Panthers are "on duty" carrying night sticks and screaming about "white supremacy"! LOL! Nothing intimidating about a bunch of black dudes in berets and black leather jackets waving bats and clubs around screaming about the evil of the white man. That is unless, of course, you just happen to be white.

And then there's this-->GOP Election Board members have been tossed out of polling stations in at least half a dozen polling stations in Philadelphia because of their party status.

This is just the beginning of the intimidation if this radical fuck gets elected. Mark my words here. Every single one of you people that voted for Obama are gonna be wishing that Bush was back in power by the time Barry is done with the "fundamental change" that he is promising!

It ain't over yet though. While it's true that a huge voter turn out was thought to be bad for McCain there is now a new narrative. The first time Republican voters are turning out in droves! They are rightfully petrified about a Barack Hussein Obama presidency and they lining up at the polls in record numbers!

Fingers crossed, hail Marys said, and a hlf a dozen Our Fathers just to be safe!

If prayer is what we need to win, I'll pray but that's an awfully thin string to win an election with. I think the combo of a flailing economy, an unpopular GOP & a host of MSM champions for O'Blama has ensured his victory. I just read over at AC that CNN went haywire on Joe The Plumber at about 4:10 this afternoon. Who else will dare to speak out against O'Blama if that's what is thrown at you? The media doesn't want questions asked of their Golden Child; they'd rather write stories about the "charming" Michele. Jackie O in her own cracked mind. For the 1st time in MY life, I'm not proud of MY country.y
