Concur Some Guy ( The Jews MUST go it alone   )   :

"  My brother and his family live in Jerusalem - he is a minister - and a former Navy SEAL - his office is close to one of Israel's largest underground military bases.
He called me last night which is very unusual - usually it is email. He said that he is sending his family back to the US immediately due to what he is seeing happen within the last week and what he is being told by his military contacts in both the Israel and US military.

He said he is seeing with his own eyes military movements the likes of which he has never seen in his 20+ years in Israel. What he called a massive redeployment and protective tactics of forces is underway.

Over the last two days he has seen anti-aircraft missile deployments throughout the Jerusalem area including 3 mobile units that he can see from his office windows.
In addition, he has seen very large Israeli armored columns moving fast toward the Sinai where Egypt has now moved in Armor.
There are reports of the top military leaders meeting with Israel's Sr. Rabi which is something that has happened preceding every prior military campaign. His admonition is to watch carefully and pray for Israel and its people.
He is convinced that barring something extraordinary Israel will attack Iran - with or without the US - and very soon. It is the belief in Israel that Obama does not stand with Israel but with the Arab countries.
He has told me before that Israel will saber rattle from time to time but that this time is very different from what he is seeing and hearing. He was at the Wailing Wall 2 days ago and there were hundreds of IDF soldiers there. As he was leaving he passed at least 20 military buses full of soldiers in route to the wall. He has never seen this before either.

Just thought I would pass this along. My brother is not an alarmist by any means.
When he talks like this it gets my attention for sure and usually I find he knows more than he shares.

There are reports that Israel is asking Obama to come to Israel immediately but they are being answered with silence. My opinion is that I see the making of the perfect storm.  "

My Nizzle . Obama is way ahead and will soon win re-election . An Israeli attack on Iran is the GOP's only chance to win in November   --- but I would not bet on Romney  .

The Richest Lead Singers in the World

Who are the richest lead singers in the world? The vocalists on this list have sung for bands like The Beatles, Metallica, Guns N' Roses and The Rolling Stones to name a few. But which lead singer is also the lead money maker?

There's no better job on the planet than being the front man/woman for a major rock band. Not only do lead singers get most of the glory, attention, accolades and groupies they also make a TON of money. As we compiled the list below, we learned that if you want to make a huge fortune as a lead singer, it definitely helps if you also happen to be a prolific song writer. Furthermore, it doesn't hurt that these top earners have been in some of the most famous bands in music history with 30+ year careers touring stadiums all over the world and selling millions upon millions of records. The fact that many of the richest lead singers are still performing today is a testament to their talent (or maybe they just love making millions of dollars and getting showered with adulation). Oh, and even if you don't have an amazing voice, there's still a ton of money to be made in a band as we learned with our list of the richest drummers in the world. But for today we are going to take a look at the richest lead singers, did your favorite artists make that cut?

The figures contained in this list were acquired from all publicly available information including salaries, real estate holdings, divorces, record sales, royalties and endorsements. The final net worths come from a formula that takes out taxes, manager's fees, agents' fees, and lifestyle.

The 50 Richest Lead Singers in the World:

#1: Paul McCartney Net Worth $800 Million (The Beatles)
#2: Bono Net Worth $600 Million (U2)

There was a time when Bono's net worth could have topped $1 billion. Through his private equity venture Elevation Partners, Bono purchased a 1.5% private stake in Facebook long before the IPO. Had the company achieved a $100 billion market cap, Bono may have been the first billionaire rock star. Currently Facebook's market cap is $44 billion.

The McCartney clan gather to celebrate Stella's birthday with an intimate dinner

She has one of the most famous families in the world, so it's no surprise that Stella McCartney might chose to hold a low-key dinner party on her birthday.

But why not add another incredibly famous musician onto the exclusive guest list?

Coldplay's Chris Martin was one of the chosen few guests that fashion designer 41-year-old Stella decided to invite to her intimate celebration at Cecconi restaurant last night (Thursday).

The dinner was held at the Mayfair Italian restaurant, where Stella was also joined by her husband Alasdhair Willis, brother James McCartney, father Sir Paul McCartney and his wife Nancy Shevell.

Stella wore all-black to her birthday party, choosing to wear a simple jacket and a chic pleather skirt with high heels.

Perhaps styled by his famous wife, Alasdhair looked dapper in a white shirt and grey jumper combination with a fitted nude jacket.

Stella's musician brother James was spotted heading into the restaurant with a large Harrods bag which was likely to be a gift for his older sister.

Looking younger than his 70-years, Sir Paul McCartney looked cheerful as he arrived at the dinner with his wife Nancy.

He wore an unbuttoned white shirt with smart black trousers and a matching fitted jacket for the intimate bash.

Nancy chose to wear slim denim jeans and lengthened her small frame with black strapped high heels.

She also donned a sparkly top with an elegant scarf draped around her neck, and carried a large white handbag.

Noticeably absent at the beginning of the festivities were Stella's sister, photographer Mary McCartney and her husband, film director Simon Aboud.

The couple were reportedly running late and eventually joined the family to continue the celebration.

Chris Martin looked fashionable in a black suit with a fitted waistcoat and grey shirt.

But unfortunately he tainted the otherwise perfect outfit by wearing a pair of purple trainers that looked more suited to a session in the gym than an elegant party.

Chart-topping star Chris recently performed with his band Coldplay at the Paralympics Closing Ceremony.

The band performed a 15-song set, including Princess of China, their duet with superstar singer Rihanna.

Sharleen Spiteri of Scottish band Texas was also spotted entering the restaurant and was thought to be joining the McCartney's for their family celebration.  "

Israel is widely believed to possess the Middle East's only nuclear arsenal.  "

Macca and The Christmas Song (Veggie style)

On October 30, according to Maccablog, Hear Music is coming out with a compilation of Christmas songs.

Featured is an outtake from the "Kisses" sessions of Paul singing "The Christmas Song" (subtitled,"Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire") written in 1944 by Mel Torme and Bob Wells.

The song which became a beloved Christmas standard, was recorded (several times) by Nat King Cole whose 1961 recording is considered the 'definite' version. Cole's version was recorded at the legendary Capitol Records Studios where Paul recorded "Kisses On The Bottom."

Macca's version of the song is of course "veggie." He removed 'turkey' from the lyric "Everybody knows a turkey and some Mistletoe," and replaced it with "Everybody knows some holly and some Mistletoe."

Also on included on the album will be an unreleased version of "Wonderful Christmastime."

Joey, why is jb troubled?

Since there won't be a new U2 studio album in 2012, fans may have to settle for another reissue before year's end. But what will it be? In a recent poll question on our home page, we asked fans to choose what reissued album they'd prefer next. The question, "Assuming U2 continues to reissue older albums, which one of these would you want released next?," offered three choices: 1988's Rattle And Hum, 1997's Pop and 2000's All That You Can't Leave Behind.

The clear winner? More than 54 percent of the 3,796 fans that voted picked Pop, with Rattle And Hum a distant second with 34 percent. We ran the question for about five weeks during July and August.

Exclusive Book Excerpt: Heart Stalk Paul McCartney in 'Kicking and Dreaming'

The glamorous and hard-rocking sisters of Heart, lead singer Ann Wilson and guitarist Nancy, first cinched their fame in the mid-1970s with a combination of stadium-sized guitar hooks and tough yet nuanced vocals ("Magic Man," "Barracuda"). After an early-Eighties sales slump, they staged a triumphant comeback in their self-titled 1985 record, which spawned four Top 10 singles and a huge arena tour, and continue to record and tour today.

In this exclusive excerpt from their memoir Kicking and Dreaming: A Story of Heart, Soul and Rock & Roll, which is out on Tuesday and comes on the heels of their first career-spanning box set, the duo recount the silly ecstasy of stalking Paul McCartney across Scotland as well as their debilitating battles with drug abuse. "With all the time in the world, and plenty of money, I became the most famous customer for Seattle's cocaine dealers," recalled Ann, "who were more than happy to deliver, and bring me bottles of pink Dom Perignon as well."

We flew to Europe in May 1987 for the start of our tour. All the dates had sold out, including three nights at Wembley. Nancy and I decided we needed a week of vacation before the tour began, so we went early, and we brought along Sue Ennis.

Our intention was to have the three Connies go on a "Magic Mystery Tour" to Beatles landmarks. We spent a couple of days in London, and then drove up to Liverpool. We spent a day sightseeing Beatles neighborhoods, but found our hotel creepy, so we headed to Scotland. We were convinced we could find Paul McCartney's farm. We hadn't discussed what might happen when we got to Paul's door, but with the three of us acting like schoolgirls, we were sure Paul would be happy to see us.

We had no plan, and no hotel reservations. Sue leafed through road maps while Nancy took the wheel of our rented Mercedes, and I provided commentary. We stopped the first night in an inn on the side of the road, and we drank scotch and ate haggis. The Scottish moors seemed free of the influence of MTV, and we were anonymous for the first time in years. We were one of the biggest bands in the world that year, but at the Headley Hall Country Inn, we were simply three silly American girls stalking Paul McCartney.

We knew Paul's farm was on the "Mull of Kintyre," which had been the title of his 1977 single, but we soon found that navigating Scotland by song title was problematic. Our Connie joke was that we were looking for "Junior's Farm," another McCartney song, but that farm was in Tennessee.

We discovered that the only way to avoid the long drive to the Mull of Kintyre was to take a ferry to the end of the peninsula. We didn't have enough days to make the drive and still make our first show of the tour. After an arduous journey we came to the dock, only to find that the ferry had been cancelled due to bad weather.

The closest we got to Paul McCartney's farm was standing on the ferry dock and looking toward the Mull of Kintyre. We knew Paul was there on the other side somewhere, someplace, somehow. We had made it all the way from the teenage bedroom of our Bellevue, Washington, house to the Scottish coast, but Paul McCartney remained beyond our reach. "

Paul McCartney dethrones 'Book of Mormon' in events rankings

After six consecutive weeks at the top of TicketNews ' exclusive event rankings, "The Book of Mormon" has finally been dethroned.

The former Beatle Paul McCartney took over the top events rankings this week after four concert dates went on sale to the public Friday, September 14. The shows scheduled for Houston and Edmonton were announced a week prior, resulting in a total of five shows scheduled across North America this November. The performances will kick off on November 11 at the Scottrade Center in Saint Louis, Missouri.

These dates are an extension of the singer's record-breaking On The Run Tour which has started off back in July of 2011 in Yankee Stadium. McCartney continues to sell out performances across the globe and due to his continuous success he recently landed the title of Richest Lead Singer in the world by CelebrityNetWorth.com, as reported by Contactmusic.com.

While McCartney easily took over this week's rankings, "The Book of Mormon" didn't fall more than the one spot, with a large margin over fellow Broadway show "Wicked" in the third position.
