Chelsea Clinton to wed Jewish boyfriend

Chelsea Clinton is engaged to marry her Jewish boyfriend of two years.

Clinton, 29, the only child of Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and former President Bill Clinton, became engaged over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend to investment banker Marc Mezvinsky, 31.

Mezvinsky, who works for Goldman Sachs, is the son of former U.S. Reps. Ed Mezvinsky (D-Iowa) and Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinksy (D-Pa.). The elder Mezvinsky recently served a prison term for swindling $10 million from investors in a series of Nigerian e-mail scams. He was released in 2008.

Mezvinksy and Clinton met in Washington in 1993, and both attended Stanford University. Clinton, a Methodist, was seen attending Yom Kippur services in September with Mezvinsky at the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York, where they both now live.

The couple announced their engagement last Friday in a mass e-mail to friends, a Clinton spokesman said, according to media reports.

" Paul performed "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da" and "(I Want To) Come Home," in Hamburg. He opened with "Magical Mystery Tour" and also added "And I Love Her". Songs dropped out of the set "I Saw Her Standing There," "I'm Down."

Good Evening Berlin

Took the German ice Train to Berlin to catch the 2nd night of the tour. VIP Packages were told to arrive at 5:30 pm but for some reason the arena did not let us in until after 6:15 pm. We were then brought up to the O2 World Restaurant. The food was fantastic and while we ate, we could hear sound check going on. We may have missed a song or two but here's what we did hear :

We were led back down to our seats around 8:30 pm. The crowd was much more into it than the Hamburg crowd was the night before. Although Paul & Band performed a scorching and flawless set in Hamburg, a lot of the crowd never got on their feet. A lot of sitters in Hamburg. Berlin was much different in that aspect, a real good portion of the arena was standing. The short turn around and Paul's long day meeting the EU in Brussels played havoc with his voice a little. His voice cracked numerous times and he forgot the lyrics to several songs. While playing "Blackbird" he added an extra note on his guitar. The concert was still very fun but it didn't seem like he was on his "A" game tonight. But the crowd was so into the show, it definitely kept this night's show lively. He was a little less interactive with the crowd tonight as well. Towards the end of the show, I saw what looked to be James McCartney come from back stage with an MPL employee and taken to a reserved seat on the floor.Once again the two added songs sounded fantastic! The set list was he same from the night before.
