Joey, breaking news:

So the famous Carrie Prejean Sex Tape has now been acquired by Vivid Entertainment.

TMZ.com is saying that (why does TMZ get the first scoop compared to other news sites out there??? ), a company called Vivid Entertainment, who also did the whole Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton sex tapes is stating that they have the legal rights for a copy of the Carrie Prejean sex tape and they are going to release it

(ooh that is good for those people obsessed with seeing it...yuck)

anyways, before they make the tapes public, they need to have Prejean to okay it (we doubt that she will)

The sex tape episode starts when a lawyer for Miss California USA pageant officials, who Prejean recently dragged to court for religious discrimination, produced a copy of the steamy videotape during settlement negotiations.

however, now TMZ is stating (as we thought this would happen) that Carrie basically says 'hell no'

TMZ spoke with attorney Limandri last night, and it looks like Carrie's not biting. Limandri says Carrie's mum/rep says, "No, at any price.

So there you have it, it won't be made public, at least for now... so stop searching for it!

According to the new issue of Rolling Stone (the one with Bono, Mick, and Bruce on the cover), Bono & Edge went to France for a "two-week songwriting session" after the band's free Berlin Wall/MTV EMA gig last week. That's just one of several bits of U2 goodness in the magazine, all of which staffer Cara recaps on her Scatter O'Light blog today. Other bits:

■the band is still debating what to do about Songs of Ascent and Bono wants "to put out an album quickly" (go Bono!)
■Adam says the band considered playing all of No Line On The Horizon in sequence for YouTube (was he joking?!?)
■Edge says the 2010 tour will have "new things to show"
