I've been a fan of U2 since the mid 80s. First time I was able to see them in concert was at Soldier Field for the Pop Tour (awesome - still the best concert I've ever been to). I was expecting to have a fantastic experience at the 360 tour at the new Cowboys Stadium - bitterly disappointed. Not U2's fault, the venue is simply not appropriate for concerts (might be for football games but definitely not concerts). The acoustics were so bad, I coundn't figure out what they were playing (yes, that bad!). I asked those around me and they had their hands up in shock as well. When I realized they were playing Magnificent (half-way through the song), I wanted to cry. I couldn't stay there and listen to such warbled versions of their songs and I left. I paid $100 bucks for my seat (not from a scalper, Ticketmaster, well maybe a scalper at that). If anyone has any connections to U2, please tell them to steer clear of Cowboys Stadium. I know they care about their fans and if they had known what a horrible venue Cowbows Stadium is, they would have gone to American Airlines center in Dallas instead and played 2 or 3 nights. I hope I will get to see U2 again in concert (in a better venue - refuse to go to Cowboys Stadium ever again). Will try to get refund for my ticket as this was a miserable experience. Hopefully the acoustics were better in other parts of the stadium so that no everyone left disappointed.

I sat in Section 446, and we couldn't understand but maybe one or two songs the entire concert. I feel as though we didn't get our money's worth. Maybe Jerry ought to put a new sound system in there or perhaps open up the roof for every concert there. If you're too far above stage level, might as well take a CD and then watch the show. Something needs to be done about that and the price of beverages; i.e, water, etc.

Umm, the band brings in their own sound rig.
Blame them, not JJ, for failing to work out the bugs.

Hello Some Guy ...................................

Funny you should mention our favorite weather girl ----happened to watch those two last evening and she ( Nicole ) seems a trifle ' tattered ' and quite disconcerted at losing her coveted ' morning slot  ' to Al Roker .

My guess is that her resume is already updated and being E - Mailed throughout the nation as I type this me Stonesian Brother .

" Joey, why won't jb break down ? "

" October 19, 2009 -- New York Post

Paul is alive

I read Madonna's criticism of Paul McCartney's style of "just standing there singing his songs" while she bragged about jumping about and dancing during her shows ("Madonna's Sweat Ethic," Oct. 15).

She should realize that her success is not from musical talent. It's from the electronic age that allowed her to gain a following of impressionable teens.

The Beatles wrote most of their songs and performed like stellar showmen, often without monitors and in environments where Madge would have been exposed like a little schoolgirl. She would be better off comparing herself to Britney Spears. "
