jb quits posting and leaves Shidoobee

Undercover has learned that jb has quit Shidoobee.

A source within the Wildwood inner-circle says, "jb has quit the board. He will never post or log in at Shidoobee again".

The news does not come as a surprise. It was common knowledge that jb felt the board was becoming wide open.

"Shidoobee is looking to someone, anyone to help defer this blow in board status," our source says.

While Shidoobee was hoping for more Stones activity next year, the departure of jb will be a huge blow to the board.
jb was the backbone of the board.

The 58-year old poster simply doesn't want to do it anymore.

jb joined Shidoobee after a falling out with Rocks Off. He didn't expect it would last. In fact, he kept his old Rocks Off membership for several months until the board started to feel like a career.

jb’s decision to quit the board comes three years short of the Stones 50th anniversary.

The jb birthday thread ran from September 2008 to September 2009. It was the highest grossing thread in views of all-time.

Despite the bitter feud that led the demise of the Beatles, John Lennon admitted that band-mate Paul McCartney was the most important person in the world to him besides his wife, according to a series of never-before-heard interviews.

"I only ever asked two people to work with me as a partner," he said, according to the Times of London.

"One was Paul McCartney and the other Yoko Ono. Paul and me were the Beatles."

But the lovefest didn't last forever with Lennon, who admits he broke up the group, telling Paul, "I want a divorce."

The comments appeared in a series of tapes recorded by rock journalist Ray Connelly that provide nuggets of new information about one of the most popular rock bands in history.

In one segment, Lennon admitted he and McCartney would give the "lousy" songs to George Harrison and Ringo Starr to sing.

Lennon also eerily spoke of an early death, saying he had wanted to stop "[wasting] my life as I have been.

"I have to learn to do that because I don't want to die at 40."

He was shot to death at that age in 1980. "

jb Confirms He Is Still With The Shidoobee

The good news for Shidoobee fans is that ib has announced on a UK radio interview that he has not left Shidoobee.

Undercover inadvertently sent shockwaves through the Stones community this week when we published a story saying that jb had left Shidoobee after being advised by a source close to a member of the board.

Within a matter of hours, a publicist for Shidoobee was shooting down the story although sceptics still insisted that where there is smoke there is fire.

Val King of Spinearth did the most thorough research into the story, connecting with Stones rep Bernard Doherty who says he confronted jb about it. "We literally laughed our arses off for two good minutes," he told King.

The Undercover story could have quickly been dismissed if it was a fabrication but there seemed to be enough legs in our story to make Joey jump into action.

" Pearl Jam will be the final band to perform at Philadelphia’s doomed Spectrum, arena owner Comcast-Spectacor said Wednesday.

The band will play Oct. 28 and 30, capping a run of farewell concerts at the Spectrum, which had ceded its role as the prime spot for big acts to the newer, swankier Wachovia Center.

The arena, built in 1967, was long the home of the Philadelphia Flyers and 76ers, who now play at the Wachovia. The Spectrum is set to be demolished to make way for a project at the city’s sports complex called Philly Live! that will include hotels, restaurants, shops and entertainment.

Tickets for the final show go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at ComcastTIX.com, the Wachovia Complex box office, select Acme markets and by phone at 1-800-298-4200. "

As he explained to the Boston Globe that week, "It's like a comedian. You can tell any joke you want, but the ones that they laugh at are probably the ones you should keep in the act."

There may be several predictable reasons for McCartney's newly energised enthusiasms the fresh girlfriend, the great reception for his tour but there is also an unconventional one. His old band, the most important in the history of music, is about to be reborn through what was once the most reviled of art forms and the sad province of adolescent dead-enders the videogame. "
