There's only 3, it's more or less a poll to find out the favorite Stones guitarist who replaced Brian Jones or if Brian is your favorite, I'll pick Brian, although Mick T. played just out of this world guitar for the period he was in The Stones, he never got credit, Ronnie plays different instruments (like Brian) because of my age, & my generation I grew up in (the 60's/early 70's) I'll pick Brian.

It looks like Mick T. is winning big time, & he deserves it, his lead guitar is more inspiried then Ronnie could ever do, & let's face it, Brian was never a lead guitarist like Taylor, he played a lot of other instruments, but Keith did most of the lead guitar work in the 60's (when he was a fantastic guitarist, compared to today).

Technically, Taylor was of course, the best. But, Ronnie is a ROLLING STONE, and I personally, beleive there is a lot more to a guitarist than speed and technique.

Listen to Ronnie on this little jam. Just feel his understanding with Keith. Genius.

Elvis was never given much credit as a guitarist, but he could strum like madman if he wanted to.

It's easy to touch this question, which is very possible to answer with a straight face.  No brainer if you listen to the music IMHO.

Here he is . . .  :smile Wow!

P.S. Congrats platter on fixing your Bob Marley quote.

Agreed, Taylor was too good, too precise, too much technique. And Elvis, just watched the '68 Comeback , WOW...!

I voted for RONNIE because Brian's gone and Taylor aint coming back.
They are ALL great, on a GOOD day!

Taylor gets my vote for consistancy.
Jones for originality.
And WOODY for fitting in the best.

I'd rather listen to a Taylor show, but I'd rather experience a Wood show. In the studio, Taylor is king. Don't really have much of an opinion on Jones.
