Of course, it lived on his right middle finger for several years before migrating down to the ring finger.

Really??? I never knew he had a different version. Very interesting. I thought it looked a bit small but I also thought I could see the face on it well enough. Must of been the smaller one then.

But wait, on the pic "circa 78" posted by stonedinaustrailia I definitely see it. It was quite large and white during that era. Must of shrunk with age.

you sure?? i stand to be corrected but until i see something to convince me otherwise i'm sorry Soldatti but i belive you are mistaken. As i said and I concede , and I wish i could get find an example (maybe in Charone's book perhaps), he had worn (but not habitually) a skull ring of sorts previously. A different much less bulky design that possibly included cross bones than the one that became permanantly attached excpet for the migration referred to from the middle to the ring finger.

What do the rest of you have to say??
