While no fan of McCain, I just cannot possibly vote for a man with essentially no qualifications other than Hollywood and the mainstream media think they have found a sellable candidate to the masses.
That at least a few of said media have flat out admitted to the Obama bias whether it be lib on lib (the nastiest type of porn) or right vs. left.

How about Obama's gaffe du jour about his uncle liberating Jews in the concentration camps -- that's pretty funny. Or what about his Memorial Day speech where he saw a few of the vets in the crowd. I find the fact that he did not understand one of our nation's most important holidays quite a giggle. There are so many, and yet.....silence from the mainstream. His PR team doesn't air that.
But aside from the media crafting of a candidate, he has no published record of what he has ever accomplished.
Prior to his election as US Senator, most of which he has campaigned for President and voted overwhelmingly as "present" at votes which means he took no position, what has he done and what does he stand for - can't really point to a voting record.
Okay, what about his work in Chicago -- what is his record there?
What do we know about it?
Not much really.
I punched "Obama's Illinois voting record" into Google and found these two articles.
The first states it is Pro-Obama - which made me laugh!
http://thinkonthesethings.wordpress.com/2007/06/13/obamas-voting-record-in-the-i...The second is a bit more critical and eye opening.
http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=18967I would think people that are voting for someone would want to know which one is more accurate, but the media would rather focus on his magic carpet ride around the world.
What else has Obama led?
Well, he has an interesting issue bubbling with respect to his association and relationship with Bill Ayers, an admitted former domestic terrorist. Obama was chairman of the board of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, a foundation, of which Ayers was founder.
The details of this relationship are out there Scully -- they are locked up in the University of Chicago where boxes and boxes and boxes of records of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge are kept - including documents relating to Obama's work. Problem is, the guy that was first told he could see them, was later told he could not. The entire story is quite fascinating and is described in gory detail in that bastion of mainstream news - the National Review.
http://article.nationalreview.com/?q=MTgwZTVmN2QyNzk2MmUxMzA5OTg0ODZlM2Y2OGI0NDM...Big left media has steered clear of this one. My god, we can't interrupt the love-in with facts.
What else do we know about the man?
Rezko is still festering.
And for decades, he was a member of a church run by a racist.
How he managed to miss that is absolutely stunning on the issue of the man's judgment.
Add to that his continued change in most every position he has taken in this race is a testiment to the man's inability to make and stick with a principled, reasoned decision.
As much as I dislike McCain both personally as well as his policies, I can see a record of what he has done.
Obama is just empty.
