Holy god almighty fucking Christ, that is crazy what that guy did. He could have gone 9.6(?) if he hadn't started playing games. And he still has the 200.

I hope his piss holds water. Probably will, he's been running down to that time since 2003. Plus, none of hundreds of massively overrepresented Caribbean sprinters have mainlined. Only American athletes do that.

Truly astonishing.
I saw him, in the flesh, run 200m, at Crystal Palace, London, a fortnight ago, and believe me, he'll
win that event in Beijing too.

I only wish i could celebrate and marvel at his talent and his achievements, without suspicion.

And it's that suspicion, thats casting a huge shadow and killing Track and Field (amongst numerous other sports).

I hear you, but he has been scrutinized a lot recently and passed a lot of tests to get where he is. And he was running times that would indicate world record talent back when he was in some Jamaican ghetto school. And Caribbeans just don't go for banned substances. I can't think of any that have been banned or sanctioned, whereas the U.S. can barely field a relay team at times. But yes, I hope its legit. Because that guy was smoking!

Lucky you seeing that Crystal Palace meet, home of many great performances over the years.
