Dude The Raconteurs! A few weeks ago I posted that I was not very familiar with their music. I was encouraged by others on this board to give them a listen. I like what I have heard. Although when I saw them Saturday with Dylan, I was not impressed. As I posted in the Dylan thread, I do not blame it on the bands. The festival was set up poorly.
I've seen many a great band play festivals or ones of those 5 bands with 30 minute sets a piece settings, and seen great bands suck... Openers too, almost always, come off shitty.
Racs have two albums and both are amazing. i've also listened to a few of thier shows, recorded from FM and torrented... amazing band live. Saw them in SF a few years ago, was blown away! I remeber having a feeling, like someone may have seeing Zep or The Stones in 69...
