i watched it and i will be watching it again tonight.  the yanks have to start winning some games here.  it is very boring to watch indoor baseball.   and don't the vikings play in the same buildings...how boring is that.

Most servicemen & women I've talked to are 100% for the
present incursions, and would go back
ten times again to Iraq or Afganistan if they had to.

I've met and spoke with close to a hundred Iraq and Afghanistan vets and soldiers going back the past 7 years. Driving a cab has it good side. More than half told me they were unhappy with the war, the 4 and 5 tours and the lies. Not to mention the overwhelming amount of non soldiers (contractors) fucking things up.
All of would go back, not b/c they feel the war is right. C'mon, they go to fight with their friends. It's an honor very few will ever know or understand. It is ignorant for anyone to think them going to be with those they fight and die with has anything to do with a just or unjust war.
And it's not you, it's we who pay taxes.
I don't know one person who has ever served, hence the term serve, who feels that they are accountable to a taxpayer. Do you tell these soldiers, you pay their salary?

He lost both his legs, and i drove alot of ramp van cabs. He got them blown off by an IED under a hummer, that didn't have the armor availalbe that would've protected him. He wasl ucky, his friend died. Then there was the guy I took to the VA who was PTSD'd he was drinking himself to death. All my experiences were one time, with strangers. i am curious about yours, and how objective it is.
I can tell you never served in the military, just by the patranizing way you talk about it.
Anybody, who really wants to know what is going on, go to your local VA, and be of service. Ask the soldiers who they fought for. They fought for their country and each other. That's it!
