that's the song that got me thinking today, that and this album turns 40 in December...

It would be cool to see Pay Your Dues get an official release, I heard it almost made it onto Metamorphosis... I really like Sister Morphines Beggars, it has alot of cool alt. versions... Stray Cat Blues alt. version is probably my fav., at least right now.

probably for two reasons - because its about ten minutes long and it's a cover version.

Being limited to the confines of a 40-45 minute LP, it would have meant less songs being released, and a smaller proportion of publishing royalties due to it being a non Jagger-Richards composition.

Agree with you that its probably the best of the Stones' available unreleased recordings.

Release a double disc. Leave the album itself as is - I like the sound on the latest remaster and that album is perfect w/no additions. If you have to put anything on the first disc w/it, include the mono version with the longer Sympathy, the slightly different Stray Cat, and the infinitely better mixed Prodigal Son.

Pretty much could just add the Sister Morphine disc as is as the bonus disc, maybe include a few choice bits of One Plus One audio for historical reasons - a kind of evolution of Sympathy Thing . . .

Agree with you P, the outtake version of Stray Cat is absolutely amazing.
