Such a static and stagnant waste of energy absolutely leaves the public frustrated close to tears and at night , when the darkenss falls and the effects hit home -- when one is tossing and turning at 3:00 AM -- cynical close to hateful . Pity is probably the only true reaction to www.MaxLugar.com . Maxy does not need to flop back -- He's already done EVERYTHING that he needs to -- indeed , the challenges went a long time ago .... all that's left are revival posts .

The MaxLugar is no longer a creator , he is a slave ... a living , breathing slave . It is all just so sad and so completely unnecessary . I know my 1997 - 2001 ( Pre 9/11 ) Maxy is out there ..... somewhere ...... but WHERE ?!

There's only so much more that he can take.
Many miles away something crawls from the slime
At the bottom of a Pub at The Brazen Head .

Another industrial ugly morning
The factory belches filth into the sky.
He ( The MaxLugar ) walks unhindered through the picket lines today,
He ( Lugar ) doesn't think to wonder why.
The secretaries pout and preen like cheap tarts in a red light street,
But all Maxy ever thinks to do is watch.
And every single meeting with his so-called superior
Is a humiliating kick in the crotch.
Many miles away something crawls to the surface
at the bottom of a pub at The Brazen Head .

Another working day has ended.
Only the rush hour hell to face.
Packed like lemmings into shiny metal boxes.
Contestants in a suicidal race.
Maxy grips the wheel and stares alone into the distance,
He knows that something somewhere has to break.
The Lugar sees the family home now looming in the headlights,
the pain upstairs that makes his eyeballs ache.
Many miles away there's a shadow on the door
Of a pub on the shore
Of a dark Brazen Head............... many miles away ........

......many miles away ( fade to white --- like a friggin angel )

Or perhaps breathing life into www.MaxLugar.com ; , a decaying institution with no clear idea of its place in the current scheme of things ? Whatever the title's portent , this Website is clearly struggling through a variety of difficulties and overcomes NONE of them .

I could say that www.MaxLugar.com ( ... now featuring ' Three FRIGGIN Hits a Day !!!! ' ..... that is right .......THREE HITS A DAY !!!!! ) has improved Maxy's posting skills of late , but frankly , that is not saying an awful lot . Where The Maxlugar's previous efforts were an aimless random scrapbook of vague and half-realized musings , this present collection is at least consistent in addressing itself more or less to a single theme : How to live now , in the teeth of horror ( .. the horror … ) , without comfortable illusions or self - deceit . Trouble is , such is the Website's scrupulous attention to honesty that you wonder why www.MaxLugar.com does not acknowledge the final façade and admit that The MaxLugar has become a poster out of time .

Indeed , my Stonesian Buttercups , Maxy's musings are all but thrown away , tethered to a formula they have plainly outgrown . The MaxLugar is now an old Warhorse , loyally serving out its time in harness to a Blinkered Determination : Rock will STAND , right up to the day it keels over backwards . Or else Max is a monument , Grand AND Proud , but now CAKED in Pigeon Shit and ignored by the new generation of posters who populate the Stones' Message Boards . Either way --- There simply MUST be other avenues found
