'Depressed': Ekaterina Ivanova was naive, says her mother
Ronnie Wood exploited the Russian teenager he whisked off to Ireland, her furious mother claimed yesterday.
Irina Ivanova says her daughter Ekaterina hoped to make a fortune modelling for Wood's paintings - but was then talked into posing nude, dumped when he returned home and handed just £900.
She spoke out as the Rolling Stone finally checked into rehab, returning home from Ireland to face his wife Jo.
Mrs Ivanova, 45, also told the Daily Mail that she believes her 19-year-old daughter did have a sexual relationship with the musician, 61.
Through tears, she said that 'Katia' had told her there was no sex involved, but that she knew by the tone in her voice she was lying.
Mrs Ivanova said: 'Katia told me "Believe me mother, I have done nothing wrong". But she is my daughter. I know her voice, I know the intonation that she was lying to me.'
Asked to clarify whether she thought her daughter had had sex with Wood, she said: 'Yes. She said one thing. I think different.'
Mrs Ivanova went on: 'She loves him. She is so proud to be next to him. It's not because of the money he has. It's because of the personality he has.
'She doesn't say "I love him" she will only say "I like him". But I know my daughter and I think yes, she loves him.'
Wood abandoned his family and wife of 23 years after meeting Katia, a cocktail waitress, in a seedy escort bar in April.

He whisked her away to his County Kildare mansion, promising to pay her £300 a day indefinitely.
The pair were holed up there for two weeks, drinking vodka through thenight and day.
But after Wood's wife threatened to dump him he returned and is now in rehab, his spokesman confirmed last night.
Mrs Ivanova said her daughter was living in London with friends and that her relationship with the rocker was on hold.
But she said: 'I don't think they are completely over. But she will not do the running.
'She will not make the first step to meet him again. She does not need to go to rehab. She is not an alcoholic.'

Mrs Ivanova spoke of her daughter's excitement about first meeting Wood and the modelling 'job' he offered her within weeks of them meeting.
'She was a little disappointed that I was not more impressed. She was so proud to say that she knew him.
'She felt everyone would be really proud because he is a legend of the music world. I'm not a fan of the Rolling Stones at all. I prefer the Beatles much more.
'But that doesn't mean I would like to see her run off with Paul McCartney. I would prefer she wasn't with any old rock stars at all.
'She was really excited when he offered her a job modelling. She said she just had to do it - to know what the Rolling Stones were all about.'
But, Mrs Ivanova said, the job was not all it was cracked up to be.
'She told me that he only wanted her to do portrait pictures. Posing nude is very different.
'Ronnie said he would pay £300 for a day's modelling. It's very little amount. He is a very rich man and Katia only took the job because she needed the money and of course, she was so excited about meeting him also.'

She added: 'When Ronnie came to ask her to come to Ireland, she called me and asked if she could borrow the money for the flight. I was surprised I must say.
'He told her he would pay her back and that he would cover her expenses. Katia is so naive. She is just 19.
'When I told her I was surprised, she just told me "All you think about is money - this is good for my future". Well, you see what her future is now.'
At her small flat in Bloomsbury, Central London, Mrs Ivanova added: 'She is so depressed. She is crying a lot.
'Everybody has to pay for what they have done. I am her mother and I am not happy about what happened.
'But I suppose they are just human beings. I think this will be good experience for her for her own life. She has to learn to know people. She must be more careful.'
Mrs Ivanova concluded: 'I am happy Ronnie is back with his family. Back with his family is where he should be. I don't care so much about him or whether he is in rehab. I just care about my daughter.'
Wood's publicist said there was 'no comment to make' last night.
