Despite the length, it was a good game with both sides truly into it, absolutely no going through the motions.

MLB Extra Innings is a must have. I've subscribed since 1996 and not only use it for my fave team, but catch a ton of good late west coast matchups throughout the year. Being in the central time zone is a big plus.

This is the first of 3 years I didn't get it, knowing I was moving out of state. Now that I am in CST, it might be invaluable, I just don't have alot of time for TV...
Anyone out of the SF area know if they carry alot of the SF games from the SF market stations. I really like the guys who call the games. I also like the guy who does LA games by himself...

At least nobody can call us wagon jumpers, as many would think with our similar likes in football.

I remember watching Tim Raines in the mid-eighties while I was still playing. He could do it all for a couple of years then. I admired his play. Then a pre-steriod Barry Bonds came into the league. That guy was the best all-around player I have ever seen while he was here. Griffey Jr. was up there also.

DirecTV usually gives you a choice of feeds. Cable doesn't. Often as not it's the home team's feed.
