I fell at work yesterday. Ok, so I work at a day care with school aged kids. I'm 55, small and very active and don't look {or act!} my age. So, we were playing kickball and I was running backwards, trying to catch the ball. My foot hit a clump of grass and I went down, butt first, but my head hit the hard packed dirt really hard. Whoa. Saw stars for a second. But, dumb me, I just got up, brushed myself off, and went back to playing. I'm a bit sore today, but the head's good. Guess I have a hard head! And I don't seem to be any more brain dead than usual, so I guess all's well that ends well. {and my "end" feels ok too! }

Russia played around with Sweden like kids and now they beat the shit of Holland. Let's see how it goes with Spain/Italy .....

I expected Holland vs Portugal  in the final. I never learn , Germany wins always and Holland never meet their expectations .

He's down in the opening round?? I don't really know who will win this year. Roger is a bit vulnerable. And Raffa won his first grass tournie {Queen's Club} last week.

Should be a good Wimbledon. It's my favorite Grand Slam, although I think the French is the hardest to win.

I was a HUGE Borg fan. Got to spend a lot of time with him back in '79, in between his Wimbledon wins. Seems like someone is always going for his records nowadays. Roger could win 6 in a row, Raffa could be the first since '80 {and Borg} to win the French and W. in one year.

My favorite Wimbledon was 1980. Borg winning his 5th. And my fave girl, Evonne Goolagong Cawley winning her second--and the first mother to do so!

sharapova is gone and so is roddick.  nadal is the man.
