it does seem to drag on, i agree. it seems like the ice should be melted and we should all be at the beach, or something. but when 8pm rolls around......and the guy goes AND NOW YOUR BOSTON CELTICS and the the lights dim and the crowd goes nuts. it gives you a good excuse to grab a cold one.
