Cant see how any list of legendary bass players can omit Donald "Duck" Dunn of Booker T & The MG's and ESPECIALLY the great James Jamerson, Jr., who played on most of the classic Motown hits from that era.


Very true, Gazza, but how many have actually heard of these musicians? If you're just going to go down the populist route, then I think the list is reasonably fair, IMO.
