I don't know what you "see" but maybe you should not use that "remastered" Sister Morphine crap to compare it, who knows what they used for their release, maybe the "Sucking In The 70s" version...

The version on "Handsome Girls" or "Abandoned In Detroit" is exactly 5:00 long, while the "Sucking In The 70s" version is edited to exactly 4:20. There are some cuts in the solo towards the end of the track. Also D. Hoffmann says that in his recording index and you can be sure he knows what he writes. Believe me, it's true, there is not the complete version on "Sucking In The 70s"!

Wow,its good to go thru some old recordings,you never know what you
can find!
Keessie asked me to seed this show,i tought that,who wants a shitty
sounding boot...because i can´t remember all my recordings,anymore.
There was a time when listened these shows 2-3times a day.
But after i checked this recording,sounds bloody fantastic for a 89
show,killer performance,and VERY nice recording too!
I will seed later on more 89 shows,as i have couple of killer recordings!

You are right the version on Hansome Girls is 5.00 min long and more complete than the Morph 20 and official release. wonder why Sister Morphine did such crap !

Well, the taper might know for sure but what depending on the voices in the audience on one hand and to newspaper reports on the other the "new" order is correct.

Kinda reminds me to the the following question: when I bought Bright Lights, Big City in 1977 an Uncle of mine asked me "and how you can be sure that it's for real the Rolling Stones?". Even today I couldn't give him a proof - I wasn't there when they recorded it and all I can say is that the singer sounds like Mick on Diddley Daddy.
