This is new up at DIME:

A Doodee Music Master Recording

Here's the last US stadium show of the Stones 1989 tour. Most of these "Steel Wheels" shows were pretty standard but the boys did change the set up a bit at this one. They pull out two songs for the first time in a live setting at this show - "Almost Hear You Sigh" and "Terrifying". The good news - you get the first ever live runs of both songs here. The bad news - I had to leave out three songs. Mick mentions a couple of times they're recording and the tracks omitted below ended up on "Flashpoint" so they are out there and available. Maybe that says something about the quality of this performance.

The highlight of this show for me was Keith's solo during "Sympathy For The Devil". All versions from this tour I'd seen and heard were pretty compact. On this one Keith cranks it out for three full minutes. Three minutes! Y'all know that's like 6 hours in Keef time.

I was about half way back a few rows up off the field. There was a small secondary PA set up to cover the back half of the stadium that was just ahead of me. For that reason the highs and mids are relatively defined and clear on this one and the bottom end a little less so. All in all, it's pretty dang good considering I was standing in the middle of 70,000 people. As always, sample is included. Use the democratic process and cast your vote accordingly. Enjoy.

Disc 1
1. Continental Drift Intro
2. Start Me Up (Omitted)
3. Bitch
4. Sad Sad Sad

11. Play With Fire
12. Rock And A Hard Place
13. Terrifying (1st Time Played Live)
14. Mixed Emotions

It says "STOP the FRA".

The FRA (Försvarets radioanstalt) = National Defence Radio Establishment
http://www.fra.se/english.shtml

is a goverment organisation in Sweden.
You can compare it to the NSA in the US.

The goverment in Sweden would like to adopt a new law, giving the FRA the power to tap
all internet trafic coming in/out of Sweden (including e-mail). There is a big debate about it going on in Sweden right now.
Even Google has been involved, theating to move all own servers out of Sweden if such law becomes legal.

Alert Board Moderator about this Post!
Major hardware failure...I thought last week I had it fixed but the hard drive (home of the Tracker) is dead.

The RO Tracker will be down until I buy a new hard drive...hopefully in a few days.

Sorry
