There here is Jay-skeech, the Angel Moroni - celestial guide to the third Bible out in the New York woods.  His impact on America cannot be underestimated - no angel has done more for us.  And his bust (see below) is ensconced on Mormon Temple masonry, at like 95 feet high.  If you have ever been to Salt L. City, you can't miss his enormous golden flute/reed extending in apparent heavenward direction.

According to the Quorum of the 12 Apostles, Mormons eschew the crucifix as their mascot, choosing the A. Moroni caricature, because Mormon doctrine focuses on the positive (A. Moroni's native leadership abilities), rather than what they consider the doom, gloom, and despondency of Christianity (torture, execution, disappearance).  Given the "feel good" sensibilities of today, this Mormon tactic will, for better or worse, likely be instrumental in Mormonism replacing Christianity as America's favorite religion (circa 2026, at projected growth rates).

" If there was a real sense of The Who as a band when John and I sat together to talk , when we sat with Roger there was more the sense of a gang , with all that implies : loyalty , honour , history , self - sacrifice , courage , hard work and duty . Between John and me there really was no leader , but for the three of us in The Who  , whether it was as band , brand or gang  , Roger was the unquestionable leader . I controlled a lot of what we did because I wrote most of the songs , and by doing so greatly influenced the direction of the band's music , but Roger was the leader  , and always had been .
    Why was this new system not working for Roger  ? Roger literally used to dance to Keith's drums . He was balletic in his upper-body movements  , just as I was balletic sometimes in my leaps and splits  . ( I once said to Roger that if you could combine his torso with my legs you would have one Hell of a man . ) But when Kenny joined the band  , Roger could not dance to the music anymore . He claimed that Keith had always followed the vocal line  , and that he in turn followed Keith  . And Keith was gone .  
    As I began to really stretch out on stage  , I started to improvise . There was no ego involved  , I was simply writing songs again while performing . Roger had an unerring knack for setting up a dynamic that generated an upward curve  ; we always ended in an anthemic or triumphant climax . He tended to favour the familiar songs that warmed up his voice  , but this meant recycling our material from he past .
    Below the surface things with The Who had taken a troubling turn  , and I had no idea how to set them right . Kenny stayed , but the joy I had taken in the new Who had all but evaporated . "

Joey, in an effort to improve bilateral trade, during a conference with Kissinger, Mao once offered to send 10 million Chinese women to the U.S.  He pitched it as a kind of debt relief, where we would be doing China a favor by taking a nuisance off his hands, for he saw women as an impediment to his country's progress.  He was ultimately rebuffed by Kissinger, who did contemplate the logistics of the proposal. 

But my personal opinion is that Mao was an intelligent student of Mendelian genetics, and knew that things can be inbred, but can never be outbred.  As I've always said, the Chinese are a very tricky people, and I can see why we got them to do the railroads.
