«The Joshua Tree by U2 was playing in many a German dance club during the Spring and Summer of 1987. Kevin would sometimes drop in on these clubs with friends and would respond rather euphorically to the U2 music playing over the loud dance club speaker systems. There are guitar parts on that album which were as effective (or maybe more) as any guitar part ever played in inspiring waves of emotion to bounce around Kevin's young body, making his hair and nipples stand as the "light crown" about his head lit up in full glory. The sync between Opera, Suspiria, and Joshua Tree plays with these events and times just after the release of Joshua Tree. The song entitled Bullet The Blue Sky had guitar parts which were, and still are, quit reliable in causing this emotional response in Kevin. One such guitar part comes up just as the Maestro kisses Betty's hand in Opera, to chronicle the quality of good vibrations bouncing about Kevin's body as the feedback soaked guitar sound bounced around the dance club. The Edge was the respected musical master who inspired that particular scene. U2 responded to Opera with Rattle and Hum. Kevin was of course unaware of a female emotional response system mixed in with his battleship-like systems. He thought everyone must be basically the same as far as euphoria and emotions are concerned. So raves were to become a large scale cultural phenomena in the nineties so other males could respond like that too. The guitars parts in those U2 songs were designed to reflect Kevin's sexual states during sexual activity. When the stage light falls in Opera, Kevin would have begun to orgasm, and then it might be an hour or so of Bullet The Blue Sky before the "kiss on the hand" finally happens. If Hendrix was Old Kevin in full sexual bloom, then The Edge was New Kevin.»
