TAKING A DIFFERENT CORNER, GEORGE?

EXCLUSIVE: Singer rams shop at 3:30am
George Michael has been arrested on suspicion of being unfit to drive after his car ploughed into a shop near his home in the early hours.
The former Wham! star's Range Rover hit the doorway of the Snappy Snaps. It is the SEVENTH time George has been at the centre of a police investigation into his driving in the last six years.
His 4x4 was caught on CCTV mounting the pavement before crunching into the glass and metal shop front.
Shocked George, 47, climbed out but is thought to have waited for police. He did not need medical attention.
The star was not breathalysed after telling police he had not been drinking but is believed to have been tested for drugs at a police station.
No drugs were recovered and he was bailed until August.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said: "Police were called at approximately 3.30am on Sunday to reports of a vehicle in collision with a building.
"Officers attended and a man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of being unfit to drive. He was taken to a North London police station and later bailed to return during August pending inquiries."
The 47-year-old singer has admitted drug problems in the past and was last year arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after his Land Rover hit a lorry on the A34 in Berkshire.
George, who had just completed a two-year driving ban, was later released without charge.
Yesterday, the impact of the collision could be clearly seen in the buckled metal door frame of the shop in Hampstead, North West London.
A Snappy Snaps employee said: "The police have got the CCTV and the manager is dealing with it. No one knows what happened."
The scene is close to Hampstead Heath - the notorious gay haunt where the star was caught having sex three years ago.
It is also close to George's home in Highgate, North London, where last night the star was seen taking a taxi.
An £80,000 blue Range Rover and a £150,000 Ferrari Enzo remained safely parked outside the house.
