Outhouse Peeper Caught Again Published : Wednesday, 02 Sep 2009, 9:07 AM EDT
GILEAD - Gary Moody, the Pittston man caught peering up at a girl from below an outhouse toilet seat four years ago in New Hampshire, has been accused of being a repeat offender.
Moody has allegedly confessed to committing the same crime over Memorial Day weekend. Federal agents began looking for Moody after a 9-year-old boy saw him climbing out of the toilet at a White Mountain National Forest property in Gilead.
Another two witnesses saw Moody walking away from the outhouse. Moody told federal agents he climbed into the waste-filled toilet pit to retrieve a t-shirt. Four years ago, he said he was retrieving his wedding ring.

PORTLAND, N.H. - A Pittston man has been charged in federal court after climbing into a pit toilet at the White Mountain National Forest. But this isn't the first time Gary Moody, 49, has committed this crime, nor is it the first time in this location.
According to authorities, a 9-year old boy observed Moody climbing out of a toilet on Memorial Day while two other witnesses saw him walk away from the outhouse.
While Moody was not identified at the time, his prior history of getting caught at this location prompted a special agent from the U.S. Forest Service to investigate the report.
Moody's prior incident was well publicized back in 2005. Moody admitted to being in the toilet on Memorial Day and said he dropped his shirt and went in to retrieve it. This is similar to a story he told police in 2005 where he said he had dropped a wedding ring down the toilet, but when police investigated, they found no such ring.
He faces charges of attempted violation of privacy, entering an enclosed area not open to the public and leaving refuse in an exposed and unsanitary condition.
Moody is scheduled to appear in court in Portland on Sept. 16.
