Cracking setlist. Especially that one-two punch of Downbound Train/Because The Night.

11 changes from night 1 (all of them in the main set!)- a nice sign for my back to back shows in Dublin in two months.

Tonight's show in Lisbon, Portugal is part of the 'Rock in Rio' festival.

Seems the event is being webcast on youtube. Bruce is listed to start at 19.40 local time (14.40 ET in the US). Hope he's agreed to allow his concert to be broadcast.

http://www.youtube.com/rockinrio?ref=nf

They're showing highlights of earlier performances from this week at the minute.

Meh. No tour premieres. Smiley

Milan always seems to get special shows. I think Lantern was either at this one or one of the other two Italian shows this weekend.

I think this may be the longest show he's played for over 30 years - when he was half the age he is now (and back then, he had an intermission!)

Is he trying to beat the crowd into submission or something?  I honestly think he's in danger of overdoing it voice-wise with shows that length.

I second that, Gazza!   Needs to protect his voice.. His body is a machine, however, so I don't worry about that.....

I wasnt go to bed yet.. too tired and still excited for the show.
How can I say you? Yes it was a bit wet.. but I dont remember a show like it! Neither the first time didnt represent a worth example compared to this one.

Never seen an artist so amused by what he Were doing. He had the audience in his hand. Never danced so even if I had to stay sat about my leg health. Is another subject.. and no matter.
Just a word.. never got more fun without shameless. Yeah!

Love this.

Even better than the show you saw in 1981 (Zurich wasn't it?) ? Amazing.

From www.backstreets.com

June 10 / Stadio Artemio Franchi / Florence, ITALY
Notes: One of those nights when "Waitin' on a Sunny Day" has real meaning. "The Frenzy in Firenze," as Steve tweeted, ended after three-and-a-half hours with "Who'll Stop the Rain?" and everyone long since drenched to the bone. A 30-song show on a beautiful night is impressive enough... but in a downpour? Pure dedication, in the crowd and on stage. A rare "Backstreets," the tour premieres of "Be True" and (by request) "Burning Love," and a nine-song encore.

'Backstreets' is one of my favourite songs, and he never seems to play it at any show I go to. Out of 29 shows, I think that Wembley Stadium in 1988 was the only time.
